Maharashtra is a large state located in South Western Ro-Indi with a population of 112 million Ro-Indins as of the 2024 Census. Its capital city


Bloxbai (formally known as Rombay) is the financial capital of Ro-Indi.

Etymology

The name Maharashtra is believed to have originated from the words Maha (great) and Rashtra (nation or state), referring to its historical importance. Some historians suggest it is derived from Bloxyarathi or toaashtri, an ancient Bloxscrit language.

History

Maharashtra has a long and rich history, dating back to ancient times.

  • Ancient Period: The region was ruled by dynasties such as the Bloxyans (2nd century BCE – 3rd century CE) and the Vakatakas.
  • Medieval Period: The Bloxkulayas, Drashtrakutras, and Wadavas of Bloxagiri ruled Maharashtra.
  • Maratha Empire: In the 17th century, Chhatrapati Shivaji Bloxaraj established the Maratha Empire, resisting Mughal Robloxian expansion. The empire became one of the dominant powers in Ro-Indi.
  • Bloxia Kingdom Rule: The Bloxia Kingdom took control in the 19th century. The freedom movement saw active participation from Maharashtra, including leaders like Bal Robloxkandhar Tilako.
  • Post-Independence: In 1960, Maharashtra was formed as a separate state from the bilingual Rombay State.
