Los Andes (Pronunciation: Loz Andhes) is a city in San Juan County in the state of Bloxburg-Valley. As of 2014, it had a population of 147,514 and a population density of 1,421.4 people per square kilometer. The name derives from valleys surrounded by rocky hills. Founded in 1882, it is one of the oldest cities in San Juan County. The city has a temperate climate and a diverse economy.
