RSCP is a television series produced by Bloxy Brothers Inc and Cineblox Productions that originally began airing on in the United States on January 1, 1995 and ended on January 13, 1998. The series was created by Robert Hanson, written by the screenwriters of Cody Walsh, Christopher Stone, Charles Bennett, John Ryan, Archie Pearson, Oliver Marshall and produced by Rebecca Foster and Adrienne Vaughn for the network RBC. The series' episodes follow four main characters called Teri, Baaksus, Joshua, and Derrick as they embark on journeys in search of RSCP-related animals and attempt to uncover the mysteries behind the RSCP Foundation, which is located in "sites".
Each episode of the series is labeled and classified in "volumes," and all three seasons include a total of 19 episodes, with the series altogether having over 57 episodes that broadcast over a three-year span; one episode was prohibited in the United States. For the first two seasons and until the middle of the third season, the episodes were aired daily. However, due to production problems with the show's broadcast and the nearly bankrupt state of the two studios that produced it, the series took a near three-year hiatus, ending with the broadcasting of the "Escaping from Site-14" series finale on January 13, 1998.
