1970s

  • On August 4, 1971, a Roing 757, Purinpu Dream Airlines Flight 607 accidentally overran the runway and crashed into a river, killing 56 people onboard. The cause was the brakes, which malfunctioned by landing, allowing the plane to speed through the runway and crash into the river.
  • On November 6, 1971, a Roing 707, Purinpu Dream Airlines Flight 823's tail struck the runway during takeoff, causing the plane to crash after takeoff, killing all 180 people onboard.
  • On January 6, 1972, a Roing 737, Purinpu Dream Airlines Flight 711 accidentally rolled to the left after takeoff from Haruchi-Miku International Airport and crashed into a forest after crossing a highway. All 69 people were killed.
  • On September 3, 1972, a Roing 737, Purinpu Dream Airlines Flight 14 collided with a Yakovlev Yak-40 private jet and while landing, crushing the Yak-40, killing 16 people inside. 23 people in the Roing 737 were the only survivors.
  • On August 7, 1973, a Douglas DC-8, Purinpu Dream Airlines Flight 1886, collided in midair with Lifeboat Airlines Flight 823, a Fokker F27 Friendship over the city of Ro-Belgrade, the capital of Ro-Serbia, killing everyone in the two planes.
