History

Kensingtonshire Regional Airport was built in July 1974. It opened when helicopter services began to Odessa Helipad. Kensingtonshire Regional was the main airport for Ultimate County. It had a big achievement when Robloxia Airlines began commercial service to Bouston from Kensingtonshire in 1987. Brookhaven Airlines began commercial service from Brookhaven to Kensingtonshire in 1993 but ended in 1996 due to the route being unprofitable and most of the flights having less fuel. Kensingtonshire Airport’s runway and taxiway got upgraded to handle a Roing A320 which has made negotiations for airlines to start flights to Kensingtonshire. Brookhaven Airlines resumed services to Kensingtonshire in June 2025. The airport’s IATA code was changed from 54K to KNH in 1990. More flights started to Kensingtonshire.
