Kenneth Aaron Johnson (July 11, 1940 – January 4, 2010), commonly known as Kenneth A. Johnson, was a Robloxian politician and was known to be the mayor of Bloxburg from 1985 to 2006. Johnson is also known as one of the longest serving mayors in the history of Bloxburg, many had also stated him to be one of the best mayors on helping on the city’s economy. During his time as being a mayor, he was also known for creating many parks around Bloxburg Square during the late 1980s, had helped on building up a few malls and also helped in growing a few local businesses in the city.

Early Life and Education

Kenneth Aaron Johnson was born on April 18, 1940, in a small town near Bloxburg, Bloxburg Valley. His parents, Martha and George Johnson, were both working at a near by general store.

Johnson had attended Bloxburg Valley High School, where he was known as an active and ambitious student who often kept high marks. He had a huge interest in politics resulting him to be present in many debates and other related events in school. After high school, he attended Bloxburg Valley State University, where he studied Political Science and Public Administration. He had later graduated in 1962.

Life and Career

Kenneth Johnson's entry into politics came in the 1970s when he ran for a position on the Bloxburg City Council. He had focused on improving public services, developing economy, and other things to improve the city. During his time on the city council, Johnson had mainly helped in improving healthcare, economy and etc. During this time he did gain some reputation and prominence. Johnson had also focused on reducing crime rates in the city.

In December 1985, Johnson had announced his candidacy for being the mayor of Bloxburg, after the death of Alberto Barjau Ramirez. His campaign focused on issues as earlier that Johnson tried to solve and improve several things. He was eventually elected mayor during the same month.

One of Johnson's main goals as mayor was to improve Bloxburg's infrastructure. During the 1980s, the city was facing issues like ruined roads, limited public transportation, and not proper housing. Johnson had successfully improved the roads, transportation and housing during the late 1980s.

Johnson also started the North Bloxburg Urban Renewal Project, which focused on improving neighborhoods and building up a few affordable houses from the mayor. During the project, fortunately, old structures were not demolished and people were not relocated. Most of the project had taken place in unclaimed areas and other certain areas which were not used. This project had helped the northern parts of Bloxburg to have a better look. Towards the 1990s, Johnson continued several small projects with his goal on improving the city.

In August 2006, Johnson had retired from being a mayor and was succeeded by Froggy Hopz. He had stated in the RBX News, that he would retire due to many health problems. These health problems were majorly taken place in the lungs, most likely due to him smoking a lot from the early 2000s. He had later also stopped smoking and tried improving his health. Johnson had remained a significant figure during the history of Bloxburg after his retirement. In January 2008, Johnson was diagnosed by lung cancer and was under proper treatment.

Death and Legacy

On January 4, 2010, just a few days after the new year, Johnson had eventually passed away due to his health issues throughout the several years, especially due to his lung cancer. Johnson had remained a significant Robloxian who had helped in the growth of Bloxburg during the 1980s and 1990s.
