Jordan is an incorporated town located in the USOR state of South Bloxifornia with a population of 31,897 people as of the 2024 census. The town is located in Jordan County and is broadly known for its historical landmarks and its proximity to the Kathaks Hills, one of the largest hiking areas in the state. Despite the town’s relatively low population, it is considered to be one of the most populated settlements in the southern region of South Bloxifornia.
According to historical documents and sources, the name, “Jordan”, is said to be derived from a notable explorer, Jordan Bloxander, who was one of the handful of explorers who built the early houses of the town and a few surrounding villages. While others debate that it is based on the proximity to a relatively mid sized lake, Jorman Lake, the theory of the name being derived from an explorer remains the most accepted one.
