John Collins (born January 16, 1978) is an author, director, writer, producer and animator, who was known for creating the Lovely World books, which was adapted into the Children's Avast Television animated television series with the same name (2011–2030). He served as the main showrunner for the first three seasons before leaving to work on developing more children's books, then returning for the final two seasons. His television series was Avast Television's second longest animated series, and had the most episodes and seasons that Avast had produced, clocking in at over 17 seasons and 620+ episodes.
