JiadoAir Flight 8761 was a flight from Massagaf-Main International Airport to Bazomja Kamakmal International Airport in Bloxjiado. It was operated by JiadoAir. Prior to landing in Rushilox, both engines failed. The flight had to glide to the runway to safely land in Rushilox. The plane registered as FR-ANK is still operating since 2021. None of the four crew members and 71 passengers died.
Aircraft
FR-ANK was delivered to JiadoAir in 2016. It was newly built, and it was one of the best planes for the airline. It mainly operated flights from Massagaf and Dahanani. The aircraft was the twenty-second Roeing 737 for the airline. It had its first flight on February 29, 2016.
Incident
JH8761 took off from Massagaf Main Airport to Rushilox. As they approached Henschen Hoschen, they noticed something odd as both engine speeds were dramatically going up and down. They ignored it, but noted that something was wrong when it continued. Two miles away, both engines failed and the captain was told to glide the aircraft to the runway, to which they approved.

F/O: JiadoAir 8761, thanks Henschen Airspace and affirmative that we are VFR.
F/O: Captain, engine speeds are dramatically decreasing and increasing… Anyways, 441.79.
Kamakmal Airport ATC: Good evening 8761.
No response from the flight crew…
Captain: Dang It! The engines have stopped! Get that mayday call!
F/O: MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY JIADOAIR 8761! BOTH ENGINES NO LONGER WORKING!
Kamakmal ATC: Affirmative. Please descend to 10,500 feet and glide the aircraft to Runway 20.
Captain: 10,500, gliding it. Got it!
An hour later
*aircraft softly lands on RW20*
F/O: Alhamdullilah! We safely landed!
Investigation:
The cause was an fracture on both of the engines. The aircraft had a wing strike while landing as well. FR-ANK was grounded until 2021 when it was fixed.
