History
Jenson was founded in 1854 by Samuel Jenson, a settler from Miablox, who established a small neighborhood in the area after being attracted to the fertile lands of the area. The town initially served as a farming settlement, with the surrounding landscape providing ideal conditions for the cultivation of crops such as corn, potatoes, and wheat. Over the years, the settlement grew, and by the early 20th century, it had developed into a growing agricultural town with a population of around 2,000.
During the early 1900s, Jenson benefited from the expansion of the railroad system, which connected the town to nearby markets.
