The January 1, 1956, Brookhaven Mall Terrorist Attack and Protests was an attack followed by protests by a Livetopian terrorist against Brookhaven Mall. The mall was armed with a lot of C4 explosives. Brookhaven's government failed to defuse the C4 explosives before the terrorist detonated the explosives, causing an explosion and later a conflagration with really black smoke to fill the mall.
A lot of damage occurred to the mall and the damaged mall was later temporarily closed for repairs. However, repairs were stalled when protests calling for "LONG LIVE LIVETOPIA" started to occupy the mall.
Brookhaven then declared war on Livetopia for the attack and protests. This was the first attack of the greater Brookhaven-Livetopia War.
