Jacques I Bobuxal (1535-1592) was the third prince of Mini Rogaulia from 1559 until his death and member of the Bobuxal dynasty.
Jacques was the second of three children of Albert II, marquis of Forêt. Because his older brother Georges died in childhood, Jacques became his father's heir. After Albert of Forêt fell from his horse and died in 1553, Jacques inherited Marquisate of Forêt. Six years later, he succeeded his grandfather, Albert I Bobuxal, as the prince of Mini Rogaulia.
Jacques I married Isabelle of Ro-Alsace in 1557. They had seven children:
- Sophie Bobuxal (1561-1642), princess of Orange
- Marie Bobuxal (1562-1610)
- Henri I Bobuxal (1564-1623), prince of Mini Rogaulia from 1592 until his death
- Jean Bobuxal (1565-1567)
- Isabelle Bobuxal (1567-1673)
- François (III) Bobuxal (1569-1621), marquis of Forêt from 1592 until his death
- Albert-Jacques Bobuxal (1571-1589)
Jacques I died in 1592. He was poisoned by the Ro Spaniard because of his alliance with the Dush Republic or by his 6-year-old grandson Hugo, who later became Pope Octavius IV. According to Jacques' will, his lands were divided among his sons.
