The Ion Antonescu Militia Guard (1940-1945) was a militia founded by Antonescu and headquartered in Bucharest. This militia was the strongest force in Romania at that time. It specialized in supporting Romarkian soldiers and Axis side soldiers during the Barbarossa operation and the Sicilian campaign.

Disintegration

In 1945, after the Soviet Union took control of all of Romania, the forces were disbanded and one by one surrendered to the Allies.
