Hurricane Francesca was a strong hurricane that caused destruction in New Rampshire. It was the sixth named storm and sixth named depression of the 2022 Robloxia hurricane season.
Meteorological Synopsis
A strong tropical wave emerged off the coast of BloxAfrica on January 18. Disorganized at first, it started to organize as it approached the central Bloxington. On January 21, the RHC monitored the wave with a 47% chance of development, saying that only slow development was expected. Environmental conditions were becoming more favorable, and the wave was getting better organized. Thus, the chances were upgraded to 100% early on January 23, and remained 100% at the morning of January 24. It became organized enough to be declared a 52-mph tropical storm later that day, a couple hundred miles east of Electric State. The tropical depression then strengthened into a 52-mph tropical storm and was named Francesca early on January 25, becoming the sixth named storm of the 2022 Robloxia hurricane season.
Francesca struck the southern Electric State that afternoon with winds of 60 mph. The storm moved rapidly northward as it gradually strengthened. On January 27, Gregory strengthened into a hurricane, and it struck Badimo City early on January 28 with winds of 107 mph, bringing heavy rain, heavy snow, and very strong winds. It then strengthened that night while nearing Livetopia. At this point, it was forecast to impact New Rampshire as a major hurricane, causing Robloxians to evacuate or board up their homes. Since it was a rapidly moving storm, Robloxians did not have much time to prepare. Francesca impacted Livetopia on January 29 as a C2 hurricane and started to approach New Rampshire. It strengthened into a major hurricane that night and reached its peak intensity of 167 mph before making landfall in New Rampshire at 4:00 AM on January 31. Francesca brought heavy rain, heavy snow, extremely strong winds, and a few tornadoes as it moved across New Rampshire. The storm quickly weakened over land as it turned toward the east, and it dissipated the night of February 1 while in Baine. Francesca caused R$2.191 trillion in damage and 57 deaths throughout its path. Most of the damage and deaths were in New Rampshire.
