Hurricane Cindy is a hurricane. The third storm of the 2023 Bloxington Ocean Hurricane Season, Cindy became a Category 4 hurricane at 150 mph before entering Farming County and Leming County, Rohio.
Meteorological Synopsis
On June 18, a tropical disturbance formed near Farming County, Rohio. Soon enough, the Robloxia Hurricane Hunters flew into the system, where the reading measured 60 mph winds at the center and a pressure of 999.2 mbar. The system was named Cindy. Cindy began to strengthen and attained a wind speed of 90 mph and a barometric pressure of 976.7 mbar. At 7 AM on June 19, a band of thunderstorms of Hurricane Cindy moved to the Leming County shoreline, where the band of thunderstorms gained destructivity. The band of thunderstorms eventually developed into a mesocyclone, and a funnel eventually developed from that mesocyclone. By the time the mesocyclone entered New Orchard, Rohio, the tornado touched down. Skywarn spotters reported a tornado in New Orchard, Rohio, causing a tornado warning to be issued for the area. The tornado picked up so much particulate matter that the skies in the area began to darken towards midnight. The tornado warning issued stated that the tornado was moving northeast to Sean Township and Adretina. By the time the tornado reached Adretina, the tornado lifted and became a mesocyclone, which then turned into a severe thunderstorm, then into a thunderstorm, then dissipated into a rainstorm and nothing.
Cindy entered unusually warm waters, and began to rapidly intensify jumping from a 90-mph Category 1 hurricane on June 20, to a 135-mph Category 4 hurricane on June 21. Alexis began to move to Farming County, Rohio on June 22 and dissipated after rapidly strengthening into a major hurricane the day before. In the storm's tropical cyclone report, it was kept a Category 4 hurricane, with winds in excess of 150 mph.
