On April 17, 2031, a mass shooting occurred at The Tower, the Global Furry Agency (GFA) Headquarters in Hokanda. At approximately 09:42 a.m., two suspects, Junaid Dobroslav and Simon Mecit, entered the tower and began a systematic assault across multiple floors. The attack resulted in 92 deaths and 142 injuries, It remains one of the deadliest incidents in Hokandian history. The perpetrators, both long-term residents and children of immigrants, claimed the attack was "retribution" for years of systemic abuse by furry supremacists.
Background
The Tower is the administrative heart of Hokanda, housing the Hokanda Immigration Authority (HIA) and the Global Furry Council. Since the 2030 relocation, the city has faced rising tensions between the furry majority and human immigrants. While the law technically allows robloxians to immigrate and live in Hokanda. Social alienation created a volatile environment for non-furry residents.
The Perpetrators
Junaid Dobroslav
Junaid was a second-generation immigrant born in Central Hokanda. His life was marked by systemic bullying from many different furry supremacist groups during his youth. Growing up in Hokanda, Junaid was part of a dwindling human minority in a school system increasingly tailored toward furry culture. Archives from the Ministry of Education show Junaid was the victim of a 2023 incident where a group of radicalized students, physically assaulted him for refusing to stand up for the Hokanda national anthem during a school festival.
In early 2030 Junaid’s childhood friend, was found beaten to death in a Shingleton alleyway. The suspects were identified as members of a furry-supremacist gang. When the H.S.P. failed to make arrests, Junaid’s psychological state collapsed. He reportedly intended to take his own life at the Hokanda Pier, but a chance online meeting with Simon Mecit shifted his despair into a burning hatred. Simon convinced Junaid that suicide was a "waste," and that the only way to find peace was to make the "Supremacists" feel the same pain.
Simon Mecit
Unlike Junaid, Simon was a high-achiever within the military. However, his service was defined by systemic abuse. Despite his high marks, his superiors frequently assigned him to "Low-Honor" tasks, such as guarding weapon storage units, while less-qualified furry peers were promoted to the Furry Task Force (FTF).
After completing his service, Simon found himself blacklisted from high-paying security jobs in Central Hokanda. He was treated as a second-class citizen in the very country he had sworn to defend. Radicalized by his experiences, he began siphoning Class-A restricted components from his old military post. Leveraging his knowledge of the Hokanda Defense Center's blind spots, Simon stole the AR-15s C4, and pipe bomb components used in the attack. He provided the tactical expertise and the weapons (including the military-grade rig seen in the evidence) that turned Junaid’s grief into a lethal reality.
The two met on an encrypted dark-web board used by Anti-Furry Sympathizers.
Before the shooting
The guns used during the attack.
Between January and February 2030, Simon Mecit took advantage of a Logistics Blind Spot during a base-wide transition to new pulse-rifles. He logged two older-model AR-15s as "scrapped due to irreparable barrel wear."
To get the rifles out of the high-security zone, Simon disassembled them into their core components (upper receiver, lower receiver, and bolt carrier group). He hid these pieces inside a specialized backpack treated with a lead-lined spray he and Junaid had developed to bypass the Defense Center's internal X-ray scanners.
Simon later utilized a 3D-printer to create "Drop-In Auto Sears" (DIAS), converting the semi-automatic rifles into fully automatic machine guns.
The C4
The acquisition of the C4 explosives was the most complex part of the logistics, as military-grade plastic explosives are tracked with "taggants" (microscopic chemical markers) in Hokanda.
In February 2030, Simon Mecit volunteered for "Range Maintenance" duty—a low-prestige task usually avoided by furry officers. During this time, he reported several "dud" charges that failed to detonate during training exercises. Forensic accounting of the range logs shows Simon replaced the live C4 blocks with inert clay molds of the same weight. He smuggled the live blocks out inside his military-issue tool chest, which was exempt from the standard X-ray scan due to his "State Service" veteran status.
The masks worn by both perpetrators
Purchased on February 12 from a "Vintage & Novelty" shop in Hokanda Central. CCTV footage from the shop shows Junaid paying in cash, his face partially obscured by a hoodie. Owners recalled him being "eerie and silent."
The shooting
CCTV Of both perpetrators loading the bags into their car.
01:15 AM: Simon Mecit and Junaid Dobroslav are seen on the apartment's door camera loading three heavy duffel bags into a black sedan. Junaid is seen wearing his mask on his forehead; Simon is carrying the modified AR-15s.
04:00 AM: The suspects park at a secluded overlook near the Winstead City border. They record a 4-minute "Manifesto Video" on Junaid's phone. Junaid speaks about his friend who was killed, while Simon checks the tension on their tactical rigs.
07:45 AM: The suspects stop at a "Hokanda-Fuel" station. CCTV shows them buying four gallons of gasoline and two lighters. They remain inside the vehicle, appearing calm.
08:45 AM: Using a stolen Diplomatic Seal and Simon's Military ID, the black sedan bypasses the 80-booth screening at the Hokanda border. Simon uses his military ID to wave off a curious guard, explaining he was being called for a "Emergency" and "Needed to get somewhere quick".
09:20 AM: The vehicle enters Central Hokanda. They park in a restricted "Government Employee" zone 200 yards from the Tower.
09:38 AM: Dashcam footage shows the pair donning their masks. Simon puts on his Mask, and Junaid pulls down the other mask.
09:42 AM: Junaid exits the passenger side and hurls a Gasoline & C4-based pipe bomb at the Statue of Queen Winstead III. The explosion shatters the plaza windows, setting the grass nearby on fire & killing 4. It draws the lobby security guards toward the glass.
09:44 AM: Simon and Junaid enter the revolving doors firing in tandem, as the security are focused on the plaza windows. Simon targets the security desk while Junaid sweeps the waiting area. At this time Junaid allegedly screamed "WATCH OUT, SINNERS!" Before opening fire upon security & the other staff stationed on the first floor, all 12 employees were killed.
09:50 AM: The suspects reach Floors 15–20. Simon & Junaid begin a room-to-room sweep of the Immigration Authorities Department.
09:54 AM: Simon corners Sarah Vane. He screams, "LOOK AT ME!" before firing his AR-15 style rifle into her chest 3 times killing her instantly. 14 others were killed as well.
09:56 AM: Junaid finds a Robloxian Janitor. Seeing his ID, Junaid reportedly lowered his weapon and stated, 'This isn't your fight. Leave.' The individual was the only person spared on the mid-level floors.
The Administrative Massacre
The events between 10:05 AM and 10:11 AM on the 45th floor represent the worst of the shooting.
10:02 AM: Simon uses a shaped C4 charge to blow the doors to the Administrative Conference Suite. 50 staff members are trapped inside. After Simon Mecit breached the heavy oak doors, the pair stood before the 50 trapped individuals.
10:03 AM: Junaid enters the room in a state of hyper-aggression. He paces the floor, shouting, "Where was the H.S.P for my friend? Where was the justice?!"
10:05 AM: An unidentified intern begs for mercy. Junaid screams, "JUSTICE IN HOKANDA IS A LIE!" and fires the first shot.
10:06 AM – 10:08 AM Simon Mecit remained near the primary exit. methodically picking off anyone who attempted to rush the doors or climb through the high-altitude windows. His fire was calm, precise, and lethal. Junaid Dobroslav moved through the center of the room. He flipped conference tables and kicked over barricades made of chairs. He engaged in spray-and-pray tactics, unloading full 40 round magazines into the clusters of people hiding in the corners.
10:09 AM
By the fourth minute, the air in the suite was thick with ozone and drywall dust. Forensic ballistics confirmed that Junaid had fired so rapidly that his stolen AR-15’s handguard began to smoke and melt. CCTV from a hidden security pinhole shows the rifle barrel glowing a dull, cherry red from the sheer friction of the 300+ rounds passing through it. Junaid reportedly wrapped his sleeve around the burning grip to keep firing.
10:11 AM
The shooting only stopped when Junaid’s rifle suffered a catastrophic jam due to the heat warping the gas tube. He stood in the center of the room, the glowing barrel illuminating the dust-filled air, by the end of the massacre 52 people were killed in this room alone, some even jumping to their deaths to escape the gunfire.
10:12 AM: Simon detonates a "rear-guard" pipe bomb in the stairwell as H.S.P. SWAT begins their ascent. Injuring 3 H.S.P. First Responders
10:16 AM: They reach Floor 66 (Operations Hub). Simon takes the lead, targeting high-value technicians to disable the building's emergency comms.
10:20 AM: Technician Arin is executed while attempting a terminal lockout, 8 were killed overall.
10:23 AM: Floor 110. The suspects reach the High Table Board Room. They find the Council members have already been evacuated. Simon begins smashing the $50,000 glass displays in a frantic, desperate rage.
10:24 AM: H.S.P. SWAT teams reach the 109th floor. A massive firefight breaks out through the floorboards. Simon tries to pin down the entire squad with suppressive fire.
10:25 AM: CCTV captures Junaid dropping the rifle and collapsing into a catatonic state amidst the glass shards. For the next three minutes, he mutters incessantly; however, his words are drowned out by the deafening exchange of gunfire between Simon and the H.S.P. SWAT teams.
10:28 AM: Simon just now realizing Junaid has stopped providing cover, Simon Mecit dives behind a marble desk to reload. Seeing Junaid unresponsive in the open Simon screams, "Get the f**k up!" before turning back to resume suppressive fire against the First Responders.
10:30 AM: Realizing his primary magazines are spent, Simon Mecit disengages and retreats to the center of the Board Room, dragging a heavy mahogany conference table over the shattered glass to create a makeshift ballistic barrier near the catatonic Junaid Dobroslav. Capitalizing on the lack of suppressive fire, the H.S.P. SWAT Team successfully reaches the 110th-floor landing and immediately attaches a heavy breaching charge to the reinforced double doors.
10:31 AM: As the H.S.P. Prepare the charge, Simon turns his gaze to Junaid Dobroslav, who remains sitting in a catatonic state, staring blankly at the floor. Simon then slams his last 40-round magazine into his rifle. Without a word, he levels the weapon and fires a single round into Junaid’s head, killing him instantly.
10:32 AM: Seconds later, as the SWAT team initiates the final countdown for the breach, Simon Mecit places the barrel of the AR-15 under his own chin. Before the doors can be blown, he pulls the trigger, ending the 50-minute Massacre of the Tower
immediate aftermath
The immediate aftermath of the Tower Siege was defined by a total systemic paralysis that gripped Hokanda for over twelve hours. Following the 10:32 AM breach of the 110th-floor Board Room, the Hokanda Special Police (H.S.P.) SWAT teams encountered a scene of absolute devastation; while the two suspects were confirmed deceased, the initial fear of a "dead man's switch" or secondary explosives on Junaid’s tactical vest forced a temporary evacuation of the upper floors, delaying the medical response by twenty critical minutes. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Home Affairs enacted a "State of Emergency," effectively severing the region from the rest of the Bloxia Kingdom. All high-speed rail lines and underground motorways were deactivated, and the Harildal Border was slammed shut, creating a massive bottleneck of thousands of civilians who were subjected to aggressive car-by-car searches as authorities hunted for nonexistent accomplices.
On April 18, the lockdown was lifted and the additional search policy was enacted by the Hokanda Immigration Authorities, with H.S.P officers' weaponry upgraded to low-military.
Aftermath
Mr. Fox's speech
As of the conclusion of the event; GFA's founder and director, AndroidTan, came to address the nation of the current events:
| “ | Good day, everyone here.
The first thing I would like to say is that I apologise for any disruption of services to and from Hokanda recently, from April 17, 2031, at 1:41 pm to April 18, 2031, at 4:00 am. The reason for the disruption was that a team of individuals attacked our Central Immigration office that day. 92 people died during the incident, with several HIA members now deceased. As a result, the Home Affairs Minister Zachary Parker has enacted the order to restrict border entry and conduct enhanced searches due to the possibility of unexpected threats. As of today. The threat is contained. We would like others to help pay respect to those who had died, and we greatly apologise once again for any inconvenience caused. May God praise the king and the queen, and god praise the sovereign state of Hokanda. Thank you. |
