A sudden trigger of a series of paranormal attacks have sparked in Highway 66. The "paranormal" included shadows, corpses, manifestations, apparitions, and tall slender creatures. This is the reason why it is called the Highway 66 Paranormal Attacks. The sightings have not been verified by science to be genuine, however, it caused Northeastern Robloxians to call Highway 66 "Highway 666: The Highway of The Beast".
2018
October 5, 2018: When the highway was in construction, Amigo claimed he saw a shadow in the woods, lurking towards him.
2019
January 7th, 2019: A helicopter looking for an escaped convict found a corpse in the woods. It was identified as the robber. He seemed to have been scared and had a stroke. He died a few hours later in the hospital.
2020
April 3rd-May 16th 2020: Nearly 40 sightings of manifestations and apparitions were reported to the park service.
June 11th, 2020: A hiker in the woods was assaulted by a tall, slender creature with glowing facial features. He had nightmares for days.
August 3rd 2020: From the Highway 66 finishing date to this date, 900 paranormal sightings were reported.
2021
January 1 2021:
What was initially thought to be a 10.0 magnitude earthquake striking the Highway 66 area has been post-analyzed to be caused by a sudden trigger of a monster outbreak. The monsters were reported to bear arms. Everyone in the Highway 66 area reported shadows, living corpses, manifestations, apparitions, and tall slender creatures killing Robloxians. The monsters also used their equipped pistols to knock down trees in the Highway 66 area.
Therefore, science believed that an 10.0 earthquake magnitude struck the area, as those trees were hard to topple down without a powerful enough earthquake. However, science later found out there were no aftershocks and foreshocks, nor jolting reported in the area at the time of the attack, which caused cryptozoologists to conclude it was the monsters.
March 30th 2021: A chest found on a slab of stone was opened and found. It had gold inside. A crystal was found next to the chest. It was put in and things worsened. More monsters like ghosts and more zombies rose from the ground. The person who found it and reported it to the RSCP Foundation who was working for them was killed. The Foundation attempted to get in, however this failed. The park's triangular border reminds them of a Bermuda Triangle, which could be the source of this paranormal energy. One side of the triangle was Highway 66. The park and the section of Highway 66 was closed and specially contained for good.
