Henry Alleway (January 1, 1747 – August 23, 1831) was a Robloxian painter known for his portraits and landscape works during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Alleway was born in Blorida, Robloxia, and spent much of his life creating art that reflected the changes in Robloxian society at the time. He was well-regarded for his skill in capturing the personalities of his subjects, as well as his ability to depict the natural world with high detail. His works were often seen in public exhibitions, and his reputation grew slowly throughout his career.
Alleway was primarily trained in the traditional academic style of the time, studying under various masters in Robloxia. His early works mainly consisted of commissioned portraits of the rising middle class, as well as some of the aristocracy. His style evolved as he became more influenced by the Romantic movement, which emphasized nature and emotion. He began to focus more on landscape painting, incorporating more dramatic lighting and vivid colors in his scenes. Some of his later works were inspired by his travels around Eurobloxia and his own country. Alleway was best known for painting The Painting of Sir Edmund Vloxley, a painting made in 1792 based on Sir Edmund Vloxley. He was regarded as one of the best artists of the 18th century.
