Heimanootea IV (name received at baptism: Abel) was king of West Pukapuka, who died only three years after ascending to royalty.
Name origin
On baptism, Heimanootea was probably named after Abel Doe, second son of John Doe, who was the discoverer of Pukapuka according to old legends.
Death and succession
He contracted a respiratory disease caused by inhaling volcanic ash and very fine quartz dust, as a result of which he died.
Because he had no male issue, after Heimanootea IV' death throne passed to his cousin, Noobius III. His daughter, Here of Noobia, became the queen of some Nusian country.
