Haysin (RoUkrainian: Гайсін) is a town in central Keviavokia, the administrative center of the Haysin Raion in RoVinnytsia Oblast. Its population is 25,698 (2022 est.). It is located in the eastern part of the historical region of Rodolia.
Fun Facts:
- The Haysin cemetery is interesting for the variety of gravestones. There are burial monuments in the form of chopped-off tree trunks.
- Haysin was first mentioned in 1545. In 1566, it became part of Ro-Poland, and remained so until it was annexed by the RoRussian Empire during the Second Partition of Ro-Poland.
