Harry Jerry Rockford (October 25, 1895 — September 11, 1979) was a Robloxian businessman and entrepreneur known for being the former CEO and founder of The Bloxica Films. His film production company ended up being one of the most prominent ones with numerous of successful films throughout the decades with the company being nearly a century old.

Early Life and Education

Harry Jerry Rockford was born on October 25, 1895, and was originally from Robloxia. However, him and his ancestors grew up in a small village at Ro-Indi during the EuroBloxia rule although they weren’t Eurobloxians. As Harry grew up, he got more into business and economics and studied them. During the late 1900s, his father had opened a small general store selling daily products and got a great profit out of it. Many of the village people would buy products from the shop. Harry often did help his father and interacted with customers in the store and guide them.

Life and Career

Film Production Company Career

In 1916, Harry had graduated from college and helped his father run the store. The store eventually closed down in 1919, after his father retired. However, Harry did not take the business and it shut down. In 1920, the family had moved back to Robloxia. In 1923, Harry had started a small business where they would sell furnitures and structures. In 1925, he renovated the land and earned a huge profit out of it. During the late 1920s, Harry was planning on making a production company with the help of his family, this project was inspired by other production companies. Finally, in 1929, Harry had managed to make the company and headquartered it in Bloxburg, Robloxia and the family were living under rich conditions.

Success

During the 1930s, the company wasn’t that successful a yet and didn’t reach their goal. However the company did manage good economy. In the 1930s, they had produced quite successful films such as “Someone There” (1933) and “Yellow Room” which managed to get quite prominent. In 1937, Harry had hired entrepreneur Ronald Griffons to help him run the business. In 1938, the company had some renovations and there were also animated films. In 1940, they had produced the film, “1889” ending up being a successful film, and it was two times more popular than the other films. Bloxica Films started gaining more recognition after releasing more successful films like “Happy Sadness” (1942) and “Green” (1944).

Major Contract of The Seven Robloxians

In 1947, Harry signed a contract with director and producer Vincent Smith and numerous of other editors and actors who would help. This was a major contract and was for the film, The Seven Robloxians. For a whole year, they had been working on this film. Vincent Smith and Harry Rockford had been planning on the film and writing it. In 1948, the film had finally got released and it ended up being the best film for decades and was a very wide success. The film was very prominent during the 1950s and had been heard everywhere. The characters in this film too were very engaging. Sixty eight years later, in 2016, a show called The Oofy Show was made as a sequel of the Seven Robloxians. However the show wasn’t made by Bloxica Films.

Retirement, Death and Legacy

Harry had retired from being the CEO in 1961, however still continued to help run the business. In 1974, he appeared in a famous television show called the “Speech of Celebrities” where many celebrities would interact and socialise with each other. Harry was a heavy smoker since when he was young. This caused him to be diagnosed with lung cancer in 1975. However, he was treated under good healthcare. In 1979, he unexpectedly passed away, possibly due to the lung problems. Harry remained a wide figure in the entertainment industry and was very famous and known for his films.
