Ham City is a town located in Bloxburg Valley, near Dos Bocas.


History

1869-1894

Ham City was founded in August 18, 1869 by Charles Bloxy Ham, In 1870, the population of Ham City was only 15. On 1877, the town's first school was created. The name was Ham Town Learning School. It was later destroyed in 1913. In 1889, the town had its first stores. They were called Lee's Shoe Store and Charlie's Grocery Store. In 1894, Ham City was caught in a storm. Luckily, none of the buildings were damaged.

1895-1909

In 1895, Charles Bloxy Ham retired as the mayor of Ham City and his son, Henry Ham, succeeded to the office, On 1900, Ham City was flooded and it took 30 months to repair all the damages in the flood. In 1906, the first planes were tested in Ham City. In 1909, Ham City got their first apartments.

1910-1939

On 1911, Mayor Henry Ham died. People knew they had to get a successor. Joseph E. Johnson, the nephew of the mayor, was chosen as the new mayor. On March 8, 1923, Mayor Joseph E. Johnson, visited parts of Ham City to give speeches, but when he reached the center of the city, he was almost killed by a thrower. Luckily, he survived. On 1929, Mayor Joseph E. Johnson saw the city economy crash. His city economy recovered two years later. In 1939, Mayor Joseph E. Johnson announced that he would not be seeking to become a candidate in the 1940 mayor election.

1940-1989

In the 1940 mayor election, George B. Hamlin won the election, becoming the new mayor, In 1946, the Ham Cities Football Team won their first game. Later, in 1957, The first Ham City Science Fair was hosted by the mayor, George B. Hamlin, On 1963, Ham City got their first tall buildings. Later in 1969, George B. Hamlin retired as the mayor of Ham City, and Julia W. Bloxy as chosen as the new mayor, becoming Ham City's first female mayor. In 1975, Mayor Julia W. Bloxy gave a speech at the top of one of the apartments. On 1982, Mayor Julia W. Bloxy resigned as the Mayor of Ham City. Her deputy mayor, Charlie A. Ford, succeeded to the office. On 1989, Ham City got their first airport.

1990-present

On 1990, Ham City was caught in a blizzard. It took 12 days to repair the city. In 1999, Ham City was preparing for the new millennium. They had their first ball drop at the top of the bank tower. On 2009, Mayor Charlie A. Ford died, becoming the second mayor of Ham City to die in office. Daniel E. Ford, the son of the mayor, was chosen as the new mayor. In 2013, Mayor Daniel E. Ford signed a act that all citizens of Ham City can now use social media. Later in 2018, Mayor Daniel E. Ford resigned, becoming the second mayor of Ham City to resign. John D. Bloxy was chosen as the new mayor and he still serves as the mayor as of 2025. On 2024, the power in Ham City had problems. Luckily, Mayor John D. Bloxy fixed the power in 7 hours.
