Edwin Redwood, also known as Halcyon, is a Tan Industries Special Operations Handler and a Special Operations Coordinator. He is one of several Tan Industries' employed mission coordinators involved in several operations.
Overview
Halcyon is first encountered in Prodigy, but he is only first seen in the Target Found cutscene. He coordinates the operations of Newlock's squad up until Green Light. During the events of the cutscene of Huntsman, his colder side is revealed as he and his team ambush the Monika convoy in Bloxtimore.
Halcyon has dark navy charmer hair. He wears a black T-Spec Ops Tactical uniform, which appears to be custom-made. He has shoulder and knee pads, black boots and a tactical vest with his designation (RH-2) on it.
His holster (containing is on his thigh and he is seen wielding a custom-made Rossburg 590A1 shotgun in Hunstman.
Overall, he seems to be calm and decisive. He speaks in a professional manner and never jokes during important missions. He is fond of combat ambush and payout bonuses, as pointed out by the dialogue lines in The Project and Green Light. He is also very loyal to Tan Industries.
It is known that he was formerly in the Robloxian Special Forces along with his Bloxian-counterpart, Rayne. Several GFA combat consultants refers to him as a socio-psychopath, stating that the fact Halcyon had shot a hostage when they triggered an alarm, shows that he is cold-blooded and would not show mercy to innocents.
History
Edwin Redwood was born in Bloxtimore, RD in August 19th, 1994. Sometime in 2014, Redwood enlisted into the United States of Robloxia Army, later transferring to the Robloxian Special Forces.
On September 19th, 2017, a Robloxian Special Forces team involving a six-man team including Redwood, storm a Al-RB Qaeda safehouse in Stenford, Rosemary. During the operation, Edwin and the team held at least nineteen (19) Al-RB Qaeda affiliates and terrorists hostage in the house. During the operation, one of the hostages fled to trigger the alarm to alert the compound. Due to the successful attempt; Edwin later shot the former in the head with his standard issued SPAS-12. This resulted in him being formally suspended for unauthorized termination and later was discharged.
Sometime in 2024, Tan Industries offers him a position as a operator, which he accepts. Redwood gains the codename of "Halcyon". Halcyon is diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder and receives a more formal education from Combat Seargent Kayn.
On May 29th, 2027, a T-Spec Ops team involving Halcyon are sent on a mission to destroy a building and interrogate/execute Brysan Roy. Due to the hidden money stash Roy was holding; Halcyon intentionally stole the money stash and use it to profit in TI-Combat operations in Robloxia and Bloxanada. Brysan is confirmed dead by Halcyon. Due to the building being arsonised; Halcyon only received lacerations and burns caused by the burned building, but quickly recovered after the mission.
Sometime in 2031, after the death of Tan Industries' Special Operations Coordinator, Halcyon is promoted to the position.
In early-2035, Halcyon is the mission coordinator for Operation Sun Night contracted by The Tan Family, although he is scene off-screen. The objective were to recover a covert hi-tech office in Bloxia Kingdom, which succeeded with all raiders dead; at the cost of data being stolen and many personnel killed.
On July 13th, 2035, a few weeks after Liam Kotzom was kidnapped during the covert hi-tech office raid by Monika Corporation, he was apart of the investigation. After narrowing down to several insiders working with Monika Corporation; he had interrogated and executed all insiders after there was no leads of the whereabouts of Liam Kotzom.
Later on July 14th, Halcyon and the Major discuss Monika's sudden attack at a publicly covert area in Tan Industries' headquarters. They come to the conclusion that they wanted to send a message and that they are enacting a civil war. As Halcyon was going to inform the Major on the decision of Liam's status after his sudden disappearance. They received news that the stolen data was found at a Bloxanadian Security and Intelligence Service office in Ro-Toronto, which was also deemed as a Monika undercover facility. Which resulted in the Major ordering an immediate espionage.
After the discussion, Halcyon presumably contacted a team of T-Spec Ops to prepare for the operation.
On July 16th, 2035, Halcyon is the mission coordinator for Operation Monika Blaimers, although he is not scene in-mission. The objective were to recover stolen data held at the BSIS-office and extract any TI-personnel found, which succeeded with stolen data retrieved with it being blamed on Monika Corporation, and the likely termination of Liam Kotzom after his betrayal.
