The Gubby (Oryctolagus gubbinius) are small mammals that are a subspecies of rabbits native to North Bloxmerica. Globally, they can vary in size and shape, depending on their location.

Being animal, they are a well loved pet by many Robloxians after cats and dogs and are known to be great around young Robloxians. They get the name from their usual grumpy expression and their chubbiness. They also are meme like in nature.

Unfortunately, due to Ronnie Ginger discovering that gubby meat is rich in iron and protein (upon which he used the meat to make good stew, and later, upon a Theo Moller request, a good cake), the species is currently vulnerable and being threatened to extinction, as according to the Roblox Wildlife Federation (RWF), the species is projected to be endangered in the short-term, critically endangered or extinct in the wild in the medium-term, and extinct in the long-term.

Description

The mammals generally have a length of 2.6 studs (72.8 centimeters) and a height of 2.7 studs (75.6 centimeters).

Lifespan:

The Oryctolagus Gubbinius (the common Gubby) generally lives up to 10 robloxian years, or 30 Gubbinial years. Recently, they have become more short-lived, primarily because they are a vulnerable species and hunted due to Ronnie Ginger discovering that gubbies make a great stew and cake, as well as the newly created Gubby Killing Department of the Retroslop Annihilation Federation.

Diet:

The Oryctolagus Gubbinius (the common Gubby) feeds off of a diet primarily composed by carrots and pancakes with syrup and butter, as evidenced by the common depictions of the species having an individual pancake with butter on its head. It is known that most of their iron and protein on their body originates from the nutritional value of the food themselves.

Lifestyle:

Gubbies usually enjoy running in fields as fun and exercise. They also love to play.

Interactions with the RWF:

Recently, the RWF has planned to provide training, equipment, and field supplies to nature conservation authorities in North Bloxmerica and non-governmental organizations conducting surveys of gubby populations in case the species becomes endangered in the short-term. Surveys are planned to occur in national parks, with RWF co-managing them along with nature conservation authorities. If a survey found fewer gubbies than expected and greater amounts of robloxian disturbance, additional efforts will be made to monitor and protect these gubbies, which have been adopted from previous largely successful efforts, as well as reclassifying the species as endangered, but no efforts will be made to monitor and protect these gubbies if a survey found more gubbies than expected, as well as potentially reclassifying the species to near threatened or least concern, or remaining the status as vulnerable.
