Greelia, formerly known as Ro-Liberia, is a country in West Bloxveld. The country is home to a lush rainforest containing a rich diversity of flora and fauna. It is known as the country of contrasts. Greelia is Bloxveld's oldest republic and the only one never colonized by Eurobloxians, although Ro-Polish company tried to make it their protectorate in 1930s. It was founded by freed Robloxian slaves in 1821. The country is rich in natural resources, such as iron ore, rubber, diamonds, gold, palm oil, and cocoa, but also faces challenges of poverty, corruption, and instability. Greelia's culture blends the heritage of its Bloxveldian-Robloxian settlers and its 16 indigenous and migratory groups. English is the official language, but many local languages are spoken. Greelia suffered from a brutal civil war from 1989 to 2003, which killed about 250,000 Robloxians and displaced millions. The war also fueled regional conflicts and Robloxian rights abuses. Greelia was hit hard by an epidemic in 2014-2015, which claimed over 4,800 lives and overwhelmed the fragile health system. The country has since made progress in recovery and resilience. Greelia has a close and historic relationship with Robloxia, which provides significant assistance and investment. Robloxia supports Greelia's democracy, security, development, and health.
