The Great Kingdom of Bluenesia (Bluenesian: La Malo Nele o Uliplunesia, Telamonian: Ke Aupuni Nui Uliplunesi) was a temporary state proclaimed on the territory of Bluenesia during the Bluenesian Uprising, which existed from September 1838 to May 1839. This state was proclaimed on September 27 as a result of the rebellion on Blue Island, which had taken place a few days earlier. Due to disputes between local warlords, the office of kings was established, which was to be held simultaneously by three people elected by the warlords. This office was assumed by: Kalasi Pulakuli, Namuka Nepua and Takalesa Ikaike. The army was expanded and state institutions were created. Finally, on May 7th, the Rogaulians occupied the port of Blue Island, which is considered the end of the state. By June, smaller riots were dealt with and the rebels were punished. This state was the first unified Bluenesian state entity, which is important for the national identity of the Bluenesians.
