Biology

Grapevine Jones Lorenzo, also known as Grapevine is one of the main characters of the supposedly discontinued show Cinna and Friends. He can be selected as a virtual buddy from the company's site back in 2009-2011 before the company and all sites owned by them unexpectedly shut down for unknown reasons. Grapevine plays a teacher like role in the show where he teaches kids about mathematics.

As a virtual buddy, he is malware, in which he would give the user pop ups unexpectedly in which the user has to solve a mathematics problem correctly to close it, which can prove to be very annoying to Robloxians, especially for those who dislike the subject. However, it can be very annoying to Robloxians who love the subject too, as he can scare Robloxians with scary images or loud audio.

Although he may be scary or annoying, he is a lovely teacher to have around both physically and digitally.

Physical Appearance

He is a tanned Robloxian with dark purple to light purple hair with green leaves on his head. He has white eyes and a gas mask on his mouth. He wears a bright purple scarf, a white shirt with a purple a d dark grey bandolier strapped around his chest and shoulder, a long light purple glove on his right arm, and a belt with ripped light purple leggings. He wears dark purple boots.

Description

Grapevine is portrayed as a kind-hearted and gentle mathematics teacher in the show, known for his patient demeanor and warm approach when teaching children. His calm presence and genuine care for his students have earned him a reputation as a truly good soul among both the characters and the audience alike. Overall, he is a lovely person to have around in the teacher's lounge.

However, he hides a secret from everyone; even his friends do not know his secret.

He would lie or basically ghost others without second thought, not for fun but for his own safety and others. He felt guilty for making his loved ones feel different towards him. However, Cinna and the others do not criticize him for this. The thought of being vulnerable consumes his mind entirely. He does not want to be seen as someone who is ignored and forgotten.

After being ignored and forgotten for so long, he simply just snapped. When he got a physical body alongside others in 2016, he can finally show how he feels about being ignored and forgotten by almost everyone. After all, being alone makes him weak. However, he would do forgery or editing to cause drama. For example, he edited the fact that the high council of GFAH mistreated their staff just to create internal tensions on the GFAH.

History

1998: The Vineyard

Smith Jones Lorenzo was chosen among others to a secret project known as CNF PILOT. He was selected as a placement for one of the main characters Grapevine. However, the company was planning something sinister for the subjects that were selected. They were going to sacrifice the subjects in order to give the characters of Cinna and Friends sentience, as well as the ability to feel actual Robloxian feelings and emotions. Smith Jones Lorenzo was eventually coerced to be sacrificed, and eventually, he was sacrificed. His soul was then successfully transferred into the Grapevine character.

However, Smith inside knew it was cruel to be stuck in a digital world. He tried to convince the company staff to release his soul to the afterlife. However, the company ignored his pleas and continued to sacrifice more subjects.

The pilot episode of Cinna and Friends was a success all due to the sacrifices made by the company, so the company continued to release new episodes every Friday and releasing merchandise.

Grapevine was a fan favorite, mostly because he plays a teacher and a friendly role on the show, alongside Cinna, who is the top favorite among fans.

2009: Better than Baldi

On July 7th, 2009, the company released the virtual buddies of Cinna and Friends. Many users were very elated to have their favorite character as a best friend in the digital world. However, there is a huge problem. Most antivirus software at that time classified the digital buddy Grapevine as he would spam pop ups with mathematics problems that have to be solved correctly for the user to close. In rare cases, he would scare users with scary images and loud audio. Many sensitive users complained that they were triggered when Grapevine displayed a scary image or played scary audio whenever the math question was answered wrong. The company denied the allegations.

However, whereas Cinna is the definition of sadist, Grapevine is the definition of deceit. He decided to use his forgery skills to trick users into believing them. He does it simply because he is scared and vulnerable. In fact, he has the ability to turn on webcams to detect whether the person on a computer is leaving. In such a case, Grapevine would whisper "DON'T LEAVE". Grapevine would repeat this in louder and louder volumes until the client comes back. Therefore, he is obsessive, but not THAT obsessive. For some reason, disabling the webcams or using a device without one does not trigger this behavior.

2011: Money is (not) Power

The company suddenly shut down for an unknown reason. Many Robloxians think it was because of the controversy surrounding them. Robloxians were happy that the lawsuits were successful. While Grapevine was upset about the company's shutdown because that meant the show would end rather than continuing, he is also happy as he was finally liberated from the constrains of the money hungry company and he can finally be an independent Robloxian.

Cinna then took over the show production, making new episodes even if the original company that made them did not exist anymore. Grapevine was relieved and is now ready to live as an independent Robloxian.

2016: Jacked out

Cinna and Friends now have physical bodies and can now freely switch to the digital and real world. As a result, Grapevine decided to go to his old school (the school he used to work back in the 1990s when he was Smith). It was abandoned, and rusty. However, Grapevine wanted to stay in the school to relive his past before he was chosen by the company. He misses his students, his old friends, and the good old times.

2025: The Drama King

For some reason. Grapevine made a new account on a gossiping website and basically forged evidence about the GFAH high table mistreating their staff. However, he failed to post it due to the security prohibiting artificial intelligence from posting. Furthermore, mentioning about GFAH or their founders in normal forums are banned to preserve the privacy of the GFAH. It unknown why he does that but since he is a sucker for drama. He would probably not care about a single thing. Also, for some reason, Grapevine also noticed his Robloxiapedia article and edited it, aiming to create drama between its users.

On January 8th, 2025, Grapevine hijacked the servers that were used to run Android Story and shared sensitive personal information about the players. At some point, he decided to spam their emails with math questions and trivia. At the start, the questions were simple like "Whats 2 + 2?". If the player answers correctly, they unlike trivia facts such as like "Did you know? That Cinna and Friends pilot was considered lost media? Tapes were sold for 4-5 dollars before the company stops selling the tapes entirely! But some user's were sneaky and uploaded the video footage on various platforms!" However, both the questions and trivia became more disturbing as the user continues. The math questions also got more complicated. Math questions like "Do you know the volume of 12 dismembered robloxians?" and trivia like "all souls were sacrificed during Cinna and Friends production" would be sent. Should the player get everything correct, they are rewarded with a picture of a hanging corpse.
