The Agency's mission is to Safeguard the Furry Race and Robloxian Species. While unified behind these goals, achieving them requires a wide variety of approaches. This has necessitated the creation of numerous departments, each specializing in a specific task, discipline or field.
Some of the more notable Departments are listed below, although it should be noted that these are not the only Departments, and likely some are hidden beneath the actual ice.
Departments
Administration
The Global Furry Council
Overview: The Global Furry Council, also known as the Council of Overseers or Overwatch Command, is the highest authority (as currently) obtainable in the GFA. As same as their RSCP counterpart; The Council members have Top Security Clearance, giving them unredacted access to any confidential agency records.
While uninvolved in routine matters and deliberately separated from any contact with the anomalous, when the global furry council member does choose to intervene, their word is final. The exact codenames, identities, and roles of the Council members is strictly classified under Governmental Secrecy.
Ethical Committee (The Bells of Judgement)
Overview: While the Global Furry Council decides what is safe, the Ethics Committee determines what is ethical. Just like their RSCP counterpart; they take a pragmatic approach to moral quandaries, the Ethics Committee ensures that only necessary sacrifices are made and that the most ethical option is always chosen. Agency personnel should be aware that the Ethics Committee is observing, evaluating, and passing judgement.
Though impossible, directly quoted in a coded message:
"When you hear the bells of judgement. You know someone has turned their only lifeline."
Recordkeeping and Information Security Administration ("Records Department")
Overview: The Recordkeeping and Information Security Administration (RAISA) or shortened as Records Department; is responsible for keeping the Agency database secure and intact. RAISA controls access to classified information, deciding what to redact and what to reveal. RAISA also maintains backups of the Agency database, protects documents against intrusion and infiltration, and monitors inconsistencies in Agency files to discern whether the cause is mundane or anomalous.
Agency employees may encounter notes from RAISA appended to various documentation, often signed by a, Director Mason Jackson, and providing context for the information that follows.
Department of Termination
Overview: Formerly classified as a Department; the Department of Termination handles employment termination related to the GFA database. Deleted files and personnel that should not exist, still exists in memory until those memories are overwritten. All things must be forgotten. Until then, we will never die. You'd better hold on to what you can; this is going to be a weird one.
Security
Advanced Security and Military Operations against Raid and Infiltration (ASMORI)
Overview: The Advanced Security and Military Operations against Raid and Infiltration Department is a recuring department within the GFA, first existing from the file regarding Jack Clef's termination. They are described to be an Advanced Security Regiment and Military Operating Division with the sole directive of negating raids and infiltration. Ironically; they do not show mercy to those who intentionally did something to cause terror, even when they were forced.
Departments
Department of Alchemy
Overview: The Alchemy Division of the GFA's Department of Scientific is often dismissed as a relic or a curiosity by their colleagues in more mainstream disciplines. However, alchemy is not simply a primitive form of science. Alchemy is the field of study specialising in the manipulation of the unknown that form the basic elements of reality. When conventional procedures fails to deal with a GoI, Entity, or unexplained phenomenon, it may be time to consult an Alchemist for proposed ideas and proposition.
Anomalous Entity Engagement Division
Overview: An RSCP Department add-on; The Anomalous Entity Engagement Division (AEED), specializes in the robloxianization of the containment process and to establish a mutual bond between personnel and anomalies. The AEED aims to create a safe environment where both parties are treated as equals, frequently conducting a number of recreational activities and the like to further strengthen the relationship between them.
While the AEED is smaller compared to other divisions, it has had a positive impact on facilities integrating their staff. Though, it might take some time until a great majority of them welcomes them with open arms.
Antimemetics Division
Overview: Antimemes are ideas with self-censoring properties that discourage or prevent people from spreading them. Similar as the RSCP counterpart; the Antimemetics Division exists to research and contain several antimemes. These concepts, objects, and entities threaten normalcy and endanger human life, but are almost impossible to record or even remember.
Through careful observation, extensive training, and regular use of mind-altering mnestics, the Antimemetics Division is able to deal with the dangers that everyone else forgets.
Artificial Intelligence Applications Division
Overview: An RSCP Department add-on; The Artificial Intelligence Applications Division (AIAD) of the Agency's IT Department was created to develop, study, and utilise Artificial Intelligence. This includes containing or neutralising anomalous artificial intelligences, as well as creating Agency-Aligned Artificially Intelligent Conscripts (.aic) to run Agency Facilities and be deployed on field missions in digital space.
Department of Continuity
Overview: An RSCP Department add-on; Often described as the soul between every RSCP Universe, the Department of Continuity is the one responsible for the definition of Normalcy, as well as its preservation as a concept at all costs. It was there at the beginning, and it is the one that will be there to witness the end.
Currently, the Department of Continuity acts as the timeline construction team between every plains of universe.
Cryptozoology Division
Overview: An RSCP Department add-on; Initially created as a coalition between the Department of Parazoology and the Department of Mythology and Folkloristics, the Cryptozoology Division handles all cryptid-related anomalies that have fallen into the Foundation’s hands. With its primary HQ based in Site-44, the Division carries out field research, lab testing and containment of parafauna that have already become prevalent in their local area.
Decommissioning Department
Overview: Although the focus of the Agency is safeguarding the robloxian subspecies (while focusing on containment as a product of the RSCP Foundation), there are phenomenons, robloxians, or even entities, that are too dangerous, unpredictable, or resource-intensive to be safely contained. When all else fails, the last resort is the Decommissioning Department.
This Department reviews petitions to intentionally terminate anomalous objects, approving only those proposals deemed necessary and viable. The Decommissioning Department also provides expert advice on the most efficient ways to decommission anomalies, utilising suitable methods while minimising collateral damage.
Fire Suppression Department
Overview: The Fire Suppression Department looks out for the Agency's most valuable resource: our staff and their wellbeing.
The Fire Suppression Department is always looking for new recruits capable of fostering a safe and supportive working environment within Agency Facilities.
Department of Miscommunications
Overview: The Department of Miscommunications (DoMC) specialises in altering known information that is anomalous for the general public view. Existing at the convergence of memetics, antimemetics, linguistics, and metaphysics, the Department has the unenviable task of classifying and altercating several unauthorized footage of GFA operations.
Department of Jokes and Entertainment
Overview: Department of Jokes and Entertainment or commonly known as "The Jokes and Entertainment Department"; is responsible for the entertainment of Agency members and altercating non-funny images/wordings/etc. into something relatable.
That's right, the Jokers and Entertainers are on us.
