Gentlo (pronounced "jent-loo"), also known as the Gentlo Special Administrative Xenonistic Republic (SAXR), is one of the 13 Xenonist states of the UXXR.
How it became the first Special Administrative Republic
Before Gentlo became a state, it was known as the “overworked penguin” of Penguinia. Just a year after the formation of the Gentlo Kingdom in the 12th century BC, it was already under attack from warring kingdoms, most of which would later unite to form the Penguin Kingdom and continue raiding Gentlo.
The Gentlonese penguins endured repeated devastation, famine, and oppression. Over the centuries, Gentlo remained resilient. During the Second Penguinian Wars, it joined the Pula Compact against the Jakoritan Pact. In response, The Pact launched surprise attacks on Gentlo lead by the Cartillery Range Confederation, killing hundreds of thousands in the process.
Despite these hard times for Gentlo, it continued to endure and even thrive. When Zanosalo led the formation of the first UXXR, he studied Gentlo’s long history. Recognizing its resilience and unique identity, he ultimately granted it status as the first Special Administrative Xenonistic Republic.
