Fox City (or sometimes known as Raccoon Metropolis) was an Robloxia city located in Arcly County, that is heavily tied to the Umbrella Corporation, with a population of over 500,000+ by 2002, and was used for conducting scientific research and experimentation in a large underground facility known as The Nest. The city was destroyed after a outbreak of the Umbrella-produced E-Virus, prompting the company to order a nuclear missile strike to eradicate the creatures and all evidence of the incident.
It was later reopened in 2032 by a fur-politician.
History
Founding
In 1998, Fox City was founded in Robloxia by members of the Umbrella Corporation (Robloxia), which in turn result in the construction and opening of the Nest.
Outbreak
After a incident at The Nest; Umbrella Corporation sent in a research team to re-open The Nest. The team's insertion point was the main entrance beneath Fox City. Shortly after entering The Nest the entire team was slaughtered by E-virus Infected and Enhanced Variants that had been sealed within the complex. With the entrance now open, Umbrella realized that before long, these highly infected personnel and other experiments would make their way to the surface and begin an unstoppable amplification of the infection.
Knowing that containing the outbreak would be nearly impossible, an emergency plan to evacuate key Umbrella personnel from the city was activated. Important researchers and administrators were collected by two-man teams and removed from the city. After the completion of this operation, the city was considered by Umbrella Corproation, a loss, and to keep the infection from spreading past the city limits, the World Parahealth organization was tipped off intentionally by Umbrella Corporation Executive, Alexander N. Jason, to contain the infection and to unintentionally clean up evidence.
A screening center was established at one such point, Falcon's Gate Bridge, the city's primary traffic artery. Manned by medics and heavily armed biohazard soldiers, this checkpoint was a minor effort to save some civilians from the rapidly expanding disaster. Uninfected civilians were permitted to pass, and control of the increasingly panicked population was maintained by Fox City Sheriff units and World Parahealth Organization soldiers. However, once an infected civilian did reach the blockade (and was subsequently killed), orders were given to completely seal the city. The gates were closed and locked down, stranding the helpless civilians still within the city limits.
Mercenary soldiers working for Umbrella but undercover as World Parahealth Organisation attempted, and failed, to turn the tide of the Undead onslaught. Losses were staggering and not effective. With nearly all of the units dead, Umbrella completely decide to abandon and go into hiding to avoid any direct involvement as the World Parahealth Organisation's last-line plan was put into motion.
Shortly before dawn on September 30, 2002, due to risk of infection reaching to main state of Robloxia, a cruise missile equipped with a thermonuclear warhead was launched into the heart of downtown Fox City. World Parahealth Organization's cover up operatives were able to feed a convincing story to the media, who then reported that the city's destruction was due to a terrible accident at the Fox City Nuclear Power Facility nearby.
Rebuilding and Reopening of Fox City
In 2034, Jack Nelson, an Robloxian Furry Politician of the Progressive Party, had funded the rebuilding and was responsible of reopening Fox City to repopulate it; but unbeknownst to the public, Jack Nelson was a Umbrella Corporation official implanted into the politicial party of Robloxia.
It wasn't until mid-2034, when a Clearance Level Orange GFA Intelligence Team has notice a sudden appearance of Umbrella Corporation members entering the city and to a residential house, and for several others that was not scene entering; to come out several hours later. Considering fears of Umbrella Corporation suddenly releasing a similar Biohazard during 2002, the GFA launched a Disavowed Operation to search the located house for importance data and destroy evidence if necessary.
