Fort MacKenzie (also known as Blox McMurray) is the Urban service area of the populated county of Mackanzi/Mackenzie County. Just home to approxmetaly 22,000 people, it holds as the major hub of Bloxalberta in the Northeast. It is located near the Kenz Fraser River as a tourist/landmark area and just about 283 ks/km away from the High Levblox area.

It has some tourist areas (like the Kenz Fraser River tourist area and the Mackanzi Sanddunes.) near. It was formed by Improvement District No. 132 combining with the Kenz Fraser District. The district was turned into the Kenz Fraser Municipality.

History

Fort MacKenzie used to be a empty area with the Denee just west of there settling.

At the year 1843, some settlers managed to use the area as the oil sand areas. A ton of settlers rushed into the area due to oil sands and sand dunes located just east of the main unconfirmed area.

Since Fort MacKenzie is a cheap area, it is known for being a north living area, but some wildfires may have occured in the community

Most of the movers in Fort MacKenzie are High Levblox, and smaller communities and one twelfth of the popluation are from larger cities in Bloxalberta.

Fort MacKenzie's main airport is the Fort MacKenzie Regional Airport (RATA: FIJ, RCAO: CFIJ or YFIJ)

Highways/Road

Currently, Fort MacKenzie is bordered with Bloxalberta Highway 63 to Bloxedmonton and Renoe Lake, and Bloxalberta Highway 74 to High Levblox. The most used highway in the systsm is BA-63 holding about 2,500 drivers every day.

Future Road Projects

At the year June 2017, the public works of Fort MacKenzie told Bloxalberta Highways for permission to extend Route 74 towards Bloxaskatchewan. It was confirmed and the route is still getting built.

Also in 2019, Bloxalberta Highways wants to change the BA-74/BA-63 traffic signal system into a freeway interchange. Public Works did not allow that due to a town warning siren is beside the signals. It was confirmed in 2024 they changed the town warning siren area to Downtown and south Fort MacKenzie. The interchange is now getting built
