The Forestall Light Railway is a 2 inch gauge light railroad serving the village of Forestall, Bloxia. It serves the residents of the area as well serves to transport food and mail between the villages. Because the road between Forestall and Little Gorge gets snowed over during wintertime, cars and trucks can drive on top of the tracks and over the gorge bridge. The snow it clears off the tracks during the winter season is taken to Ussendess to be melted into drinking water for the steam engines of the railroad. It is approximately 2.18 miles ( about 3.5 km).

History
In 1921, a group of farmers constructed the first 1.7 miles of the route and used it to transport grain to the market, eventually when a logging industry set up in 1925, it was extended to its current length and started carrying passengers. The original trains were steam powered 0-6-0 locomotives hauling open cars, made locally. Along with the locomotive hauled stock, a sail-hauled stock existed too, but had a small diesel locomotive leading it in case there was no wind. 1.2 miles of the track was rebuilt (in total) when the dikes (also known as a levee) were built. Today, it still operates a mix of steam, diesel and wind powered stock.
