Fish Empire was a country in North Bloxmerica that existed from 1507 to around 1962. The empire was a multi ideological country that, at its peak, controlled parts of Bloxukon and Bloxalberta, as well as all of Bloxcouver Island and Bloxish Columbia.
History
Formation
In 1507, three tribes in Bloxish Columbia united to form the Fishic Trebs (pronounced Fee-Shk Tro-ibs). Over time, more tribes joined the union, eventually uniting all of Bloxish Columbia and parts of Bloxukon and Bloxalberta.
Discovery of Bloxcouver Island
In 1515, multiple rumors emerged of an island existing west of Bloxish Columbia. An explorer by the name of Blox Clover set sail to find it and eventually discovered the island. Realizing he could name it, he called it "BloxCLOVER" after himself. However, when he returned to the mainland, people misheard it as "Bloxcouver", which eventually became the island's name.
Cultural Meaning of Bloxcouver Island
Shortly after its discovery, the Monarchy of the Fish Empire declared Bloxcouver Island as the new capital. As a result, thousands of citizens moved from the old capital to the island, rapidly increasing its population.
Encounter with the Bloxians
In 1763, the Bloxian Empire encountered the Fishic Trebs while expanding into Bloxanada. A Bloxian general misheard the name as "Fishic Tribes," and the term became widely used to describe the Fish Empire.
The Second Encounter with the Bloxians
In 1764, the Bloxians mapped the territory of the Fishic Tribes and realized the vast extent of their land in modern-day Bloxanada. They subsequently renamed them the Fish Empire.
The Great Bloxi–Fish Empiric War
In 1766, the Bloxian Empire launched an invasion of the Fish Empire, killing over 500,000 Fish Empiric troops while losing around 100,000 of their own. The Bloxians advanced into Fish Empiric territory, eventually capturing Bloxalberta and Bloxukon.
The End of the Bloxi–Fish Empiric War
In 1749, after three years of fighting, the Bloxian Empire exiled the Fish Empire to Bloxcouver Island.
The Fish Empiric Rebellions
By 1800, after decades of Bloxian dominance, the Fish Empire began to destabilize. The Nationalist Fish Empiric rebellion emerged first. The Monarchy of the Fish Empire, unwilling to risk further losses, chose not to intervene. This triggered a chain reaction: the Democratic Fish Empiric rebellion formed, followed by the Communist Fish Empiric rebellion forming.
The Great Fish Empiric Civil War
In 1805, the Monarchy of the Fish Empire attempted to suppress the Nationalists but was quickly overwhelmed when both the Democrats and Communists declared war on them. Facing a three-front war, the Monarchy of the Fish Empire collapsed in 1807.
The Second Fish Empiric Civil War
In 1812, the Nationalists, having defeated the Monarchy of the Fish Empire with help from the other factions, turned against the Communists. However, the Democrats declared war on the Nationalists, leading to a multi-front conflict. The Nationalists were defeated in 1814.
The Fish Empiric Pact
Following the war, the Democratic and Communist factions signed a non-aggression pact to prevent further conflict and allow both sides to recover.
The Breaking of the Fish Empiric Pact
In 1820, internal unrest forced the Communist government to declare war on the Democrats, breaking the pact.
The End of the Third Fish Empiric War
By 1825, after five years of fighting, the Democrats captured the Communist capital, leaving the Democratic Fish Empire as the sole ruling power.
The Fascist Uprising (1939)
In 1939, fascist forces rose against the Democratic government, exiling them to Ro-Victoria. The fascists expanded rapidly, capturing Bloxish Columbia and parts of Bloxalberta and Bloxukon. The Democratic forces called upon Bloxanada and the Bloxian Empire for assistance.
The Fall of the Fascist Fish Empire
In 1942, Democratic forces reclaimed Bloxcouver Island and, with Bloxian support, encircled the fascists, leading to their defeat in 1943.
The Rise of the Youbrowseric Party
In 1960, after paying off war reparations, the Youbrowseric Reform Party rose to prominence and won the 1962 elections. The party officially dissolved the Fish Empire and established the Youbrowseric Lands, which still exist today.
Trivia
- The Fish Empiric weapon designers created a weapon known as the Spawn Shuriken, consisting of 12 spike-shaped shurikens bound together and released simultaneously when thrown. It was banned in 1962 after causing approximately 200,000 deaths, but was unbanned in 1965 due to its cultural significance.
- It is estimated that around 50 tribes were part of the Fish Empire before the Bloxian invasion.
