Before you start reading this article; please note this is not in Robloxiapedia's universal lore. It takes place in an (somewhat) alternate history Southern Oregon, US, in 2023-24. The only alternate history aspects of this is(obviously the contents of this article that do not exist in real life) the existence of North Plaza County and the cities in it, which is a fictional county in Oregon.
This article is based off a real factions larp that happened in my middle school a while back. The dates are fabricated and all real people have had their names changed for privacy.
The First War of North Plaza (not to be confused as an actual first war that is in North Plaza), also known as the First North Plazaic War or at the time of the war, the Great War of North Plaza/Great War of Rayford was an extremely large conflict between 3 coalitions: the Authority Powers, the Field Powers, and the Socialist Powers in the county of North Plaza, Oregon, from March 16, 2023, to June 11, 2024, causing the capitulation and removal of all acting council members (except Saul Henett), the prelude to the Second War of North Plaza, the military and industrial growth of the Republic of North Plaza, military and industrial growth of the Federation of Gamers, and the demilitarization of the South Track.
Background
From 2022 to 2023, there was multiple factions and established nations throughout Rayford Middle School. Some were created or established by certain students of ethnicities, religions, or some identity. However, generally most factions were just based on students wanting to start something big. A large student-led economy existed throughout the school. The school's largest faction was the school faculty established student council, consisting of 29 council members and a President. The November 2022 elections of the council had resulted in President Ron Gabor and his Vice-Chairman, Madison Phillips. They won by an 80% majority, however many students who voted did not recall voting for him. Specifically, Walter Parker spoke out against the election for being fradulent as a school newsletter poll resulted in a 48% result for Gabor and Clark, with the other option being the other candidates, P:Tom Coleman, VC: Brian Bolt, and P:Derrick Truman, VC:Jasmine Scott. Strangely enough, Walter Parker, Aidan Marco, and Tom Coleman, all 3 being against Gabor and Phillips had been absent from school for 3 days due to food poisoning. At the time, the Council did not control the East, West, and North parts of the Track region as well as Lark Creek which had recently been made for students to be allowed to go to. On December 2nd, 2022, Walter Parker founded the Republic of North Plaza, named after the county in which the school and city of Rayford was located in.
Basic summary of the Republic of North Plaza
The Republic of North Plaza was founded on December 2, 2022, and it's constitution was signed by Walter Parker, Lamarr Thompson, Tom Coleman, Aidan Marco, and Cooper Donnerstag. All of them were members of the federal government. Marco would go on to be the second president of the country and later lead the Republic through half of the war. Parker would lead for the first half until his eventual passing of "Ow, liver failure.". Lamarr Thompson or Field Marshal Lamarr would be the most famous military leader of the Republic and the war. The Republic spanned from Bleacher City in the east on the campus all the way to Ventura Lane near the west turn of Interstate 5. Its capital was Cooper Donegan's house on the west side of the Rayford Central Highway (which splits off from I-5 and reconnects in the north, going through half of the city)
Basic summary of the Federation of Gamers
The Federation of Gamers, previously the "United Kingdom of Bethesda and Valve" was declared by King Will I of the Bethesda clique, a clique that ruled over Rayford Elementary School, founded by King Wyatt on September 19th, 2017. It consisted of videogame enthusiasts and it had multiple kings, all of which were not related to another due to the constitution. The constitution did not actually do anything or enforce anything: it just stated that the ruling dynasty would rotate every year. The United Kingdom of Bethesda and Valve was declared by King Will I after he united the Valve, Epic, and Bethesda gaming cliques into one conglomerate, thus forming a united kingdom. The constitution was no longer in power and the Prescott dynasty became the longest ruling and permanent ruling dynasty. As the transition to middle school came, so did major reforms. The United Kingdom of Bethesda and Valve (UKBV) colonized multiple lands like the local trails by I-5, backareas of the playground, and many neighborhoods like the South and West Neighborhoods. (neighborhoods south and west of Rayford Middle School, respectfully) Will I had lost interest in governing the nation but could not let it go into anarchy. He installed a true democratic constitution but kept some power for himself, and installed a prime minister, Colton James. After some time and just a week before the start of the war, the most famous prime minister, Issac M. Lynn, became elected. James stayed as a General in the Federal Army. The country's name changed to a more simple name, the Federation of Gamers.
Rise of socialism in the Great Hall area and the Socialist-Furry war
The Great Hall area is a large hallway in the center of the school, connecting the school to the parking lot, cafeteria, office, amphitheater, blacktop, and multiple building wings. This area was home to Kevin Irwin and Darius Henderson, who believed that the only way to stop the unhappiness and low self-esteem of the student body was to establish a sort of socialist system so students would "have less to worry about". Because it's a middle school and every male was an edgy communist COD kid, everybody there agreed with them. Near the Principality of New Furryton, they posed a threat to Furryton, so Queen Burton would have anti-socialist raids in her country as the socialists grew bigger and bigger. Eventually, they seceded from the Council occupied lands in the D and B building wings, causing a war between them and the Council. After a week of fighting, the Council recognized them as a real nation and gave them their independence in parts of the Great Hall area and the B building, on many conditions, like permanent military and civilian access, and for them to protect the A building, where the Council's capital was. In January, a border war between New Furryton and the Socialist Federal States of Rayford (SFSR) occurred, leaving 10 total dead.
Tensions rise between the Republic of North Plaza and the Council
As the year went on, tensions would continue to rise and skyrocket between the two nations. "It was not known at the time but these tensions were a powderkeg about to explode and it would be filled of bullets and blood." - Dave Renee of the Federation of Gamers, September 20, 2024
The Southern Gym Incident
The "Southern Gym" refers to an area south of the West Gymnasium of the school. One Republic footman and a Council reconnaissance man got into a skirmish when the reconnaissance unit attempted to shoot the footman. This caused more unrest and problems to start between the two nations.
Federation of Gamers and the Spanish Republic of South Oregon (SRSO)
An oligarchic Hispanic clique led by Salvador Marco and Andrew Cortes (Spanish Republic of South Oregon)was growing in the Southeast part of the campus in the C, D, and E buildings. The Federation which was doing expeditions in the I and C building area had encounters with them, including an accidental death (which was not made public until after the war ended) of a Spanish civilian. Cortes ordered for the Federation to leave the area or face a trade blockade (to the South Neighborhood which connected to the high school, gangs, and other groups within that area), and the Federation reluctantly left but set up a guarding line on the pathways near the area.
McLoughlin Civil War
The Kingdom of McLoughlin (KOM) was a medium sized clique that expanded from the hills west of RMS to suburbs in a different school district of Rayford, Oregon. At the time of the uprising, it was led by Joel Lee. His predecessor and eldest brother, Adir Lee, who had been exposed in a scandal that led to his forced abdication in September 2022. This scandal involved him embezzling state funds and funds dedicated to the populous for himself and youngest brother, David IV, who would later go on to form the McLoughlin National Union. (MLNU) Joel had been thrown into the throne immediately without any prior training, thus making him a horrible king. Because he knew that he was an unstable, unexperienced monarch, he turned the KOM into a semi-constitutional monarchy with Chancellor Carol Warren. Warren stabilized the country for a few weeks before David IV revolted against the Lee Dynasty in an attempt to create a true democracy in the nation, and blamed Joel and Adir for the oppression of Asian minorities throughout the nation. In a day, the entirety of the nation collapsed and Warren and Lee escaped to the Federation of Gamers. Warren joined a democratic-capitalist group, the McLoughlin Corporatist Republic, later joining with the McLoughlin National Union and Rayford Socialist Club (RSC) in an unstable alliance against the invasion from the SRSO, who had been looking to take advantage of the civil war so they could invade through them rather than going around the school to the field and Northern neighborhoods.
The Table Mountain Hand
A militia group known as the Table Mountain Hand, formerly aligned with Great Kirtland, a semi-constitutional monarchy led by Aziel Segal had been plotting the assassination of President Gabor. Segal had constantly warned and attempted to discourage them of the plan, however in March of that year, they would go ahead with the plan.
Assassination of Ron Gabor
On March 5, 2023, Gabor announced he would be walking down the Great Hallway at mid-day (for attention) as he was going on a diplomatic mission to Lark Creek to meet with Walter Parker. A member of the Table Mountain Hand, Louis Wright had prepared a long range, high power, electrically activated rifle, and loaded in a gel round rather than a (considered conventional) foam dart. This would kill Gabor anywhere. However, it missed and hit a water fountain, and the gel round went into the components and caused an electrical malfunction of the water fountain, causing water to shoot out of the fountain and injure a member of the Council's military. He was taken to an infirmary in the A building area, where Gabor went shortly afterward to meet the wounded soldier, again, for attention and good light on him. However, as he left the building, the same exact TMH member had found him, and took his chance by blindly aiming at Gabor.
The shot went into Gabor's skull and he never recovered.
March Crisis
News of the assassination of President Gabor went out across the campus and surrounding neighborhoods and even the local high school and elementary schools. The student bodies of all of them had heard of and were shocked. Some were saddened, some were disappointed, and some were happy. The Table Mountain Hand escaped to Kirtland and the Council, now lead by President Phillips demanded that they be prosecuted or for all of them to be extradited to the A building. King Segal refused and demanded that Phillips "stop being a sore loser against terrorists". They denied any connection to them and they had allegedly already attempted to remove them from their nation, however they refused and kept returning. Because of their arms, the law enforcement of Kirtland did not want to get into a conflict with the TMH.
Declaration of war
Phillips and her new Vice-Chairman, Raleigh, had demanded for the execution of all TMH members and for Segal to resign. This demand was not met, and Phillips declared war on Kirtland on March 16, 2023. Because of their trade and historical relations, the Republic of North Plaza and the Federation of Gamers joined wars with Kirtland. The first battle of the war was the attack on the bus loop, which was a major city and trade hub of Kirtland.
Quick Background: Coalitions
- The Field Coalition was a coalition of nations, gangs, and cliques in the county who wanted to stop the oppressive and authoritarian regime of the Student Council and to give students and everybody a voice.
- The Authority Powers (ironic name) were a coalition of nations, gangs, cliques, and administrations who wanted to end the existence of the nations and student-led organizations and powers threatening a functioning school. (It is still a controversial and hasty topic due to the polarizing topic of ending factions/nations getting in the way of organized, school led authority, despite some actual student-led factions/nations actually changing things and doing things that the Student Council could not.
- The Socialist Powers were a coalition of 2 socialist nations and 1 socialist gang. They were led by Darius Henderson, Kevin Irwin, and (WIP), and they were one of the factions that mainly had fighting in the Neighborhood until they retook their capitol of G2.
Battle of Kirtland
The Battle of Kirtland was a large battle consisting of attacks and defenses of the Bus Loop and areas located in the small region of South Kirtland (where most of their population was.) and some battles in the C building. Council forces immediately occupied the D building and part of the hallway, however it was difficult for them to take the D hallway due to the ongoing civil war in the E-Amphitheater area. After one week, the Authority powers had won the battle and expanded to the gate leading to the neighborhood.
Progression of the war
Field Front and Southern Front - Spring-Summer 2023
Throughout the summer of 2023, battles happened on the Track, Field, and homeland of the Republic of North Plaza. Because of a recent expedition to conquer lands in the Western Neighborhood, west of the school, they had manpower, supplies, and backup land in case the Council had successfully pushed them back out of the campus. Because of how close it was to their capital, most council forces were in the Field area. The Federation of Gamers, located in the multiple neighborhoods, blocks, and roads south of the school, had attempted to push back into the bus loop after the battle of Kirtland. King Segal had fled to the FOG after the capital in the Bus Loop had been taken. Council Member Marley was threatened to be killed or enslaved by her older siblings if she did not win the war or end it before the new years, 2 of which also members.
The school had given the Council $3,000 to combat and end all the factions and nations that existed in the school or at the very least the ongoing threat posed by the Field Coalition. Because of this lease from the school, the Council severely pushed the Republic out of the campus and onto Sparrow Avenue, where the Republic had to dig in as August came to a close. When the new school year began, fights and guerilla warfare became extremely common on the campus and the neighborhoods around it. Field Marshal James (Jared James) denounced the military debt owed to the school faculty. James gathered his men and spearheaded toward Douglas Street, which was a large road connecting a small neighborhood of 2 blocks north of Rayford MS. James targeted this area because it had a few homes which were bases of the Republic.
Battle of Douglas Street
Council and Republic soldiers fought over a cul-de-sac that split off from Douglas Street. Over 100 men died in the first hour of the battle. This battle saw the first use of mortar and artillery that did not rely on manual gunpowder insertion or manual round firing. These rounds had gunpowder on the back which would detonate via a large round primer activated by a medium-sized handle that had to be cranked down and then let go to let the handle activate a hammer which then hit the primer, thus launching the artillery/mortar round. Fighting continued for an entire day until the Council managed to get full control of the cul-de-sac and the neighborhood of Douglas Street.
Fall-Winter 2023/4
As the new school year had begun, guerilla fighting became common on campus. This allowed for the Field Coalition to keep pushing out of the campus and to reconnect with the rest of their occupation and owned territory outside of campus. Temperatures dropped as they did normally, and the coalitions had to rapidly convert their infantry's equipment to winter-based equipment and attire. This slowed down fighting until the major, brutal battle that took place at Lark Lane, which was the largest battle of the war. Over 3000 men in total died. Hundreds of equipment pieces like artillery and armored infantry were destroyed or lost in the battle, as an unexpected, fatal blizzard came in over Southern Oregon, causing snow to rise up to 1 and a half feet. The blizzard was unnatural for the county therefore many men froze to death or had to retreat indoors, and Lark Lane only had 5 houses on it in total. President Parker fought alongside the men, providing covering fire and morale by singing hymns and battle cries. A reconnaissance man of the Council shot at Parker's head, but somehow shot him in his liver. Parker later passed away in a field hospital, saying his last words in an English accent. Because it's the middle of nowhere America, no one understood what he said, however the nurse tending to Parker wrote down the syllables and sounds that Parker made before he died. Piper Howard, an English and German speaker had translated it to American (american english) and although she admit it was not entirely accurate, it was most likely what Parker said.
Parker's last words were "Don't let that dumba** Aidan in charge." These words were in vain as Aidan Marco, a somewhat famous field marshal of the Republic had taken power and was sworn in as the Second President of the Republic of North Plaza. Parker passed away from his liver and body failing to recover from the gun shot to his liver. He was buried at what is now the Parker Monument at the North Track.
Aidan Marco immediately put the nation in a state of total war, and declared war on the Council. Formally, as the original declaration of war was a piece of notebook paper that read "You're a (censored), we hope you take this declaration of war like a big kid and suck it up.". Marco, instead of declaring war because of the Council's invasion, declared war and justified his reason, citing the Geneva Convention, Chapter I, Subsection I, word 10, "the".
Aidan Marco's declaration of war
On November 31, 2023, Marco addressed the nation at Jim's house, located in the state of the "Dual Republic of the Provincial State of Jim and Warren", a state so big requiring 2 governors, Jim Havier and Carol Warren, yet lacking a reason for 2 states, somehow. His public announcement of the declaration of war is the following;
According to the Geneva Convention of 1949, Chapter I, Subsection I "Preliminary Remarks", word 10, "the"[1] This means that we are in full justification to declare war on the RMS Council. I just solved world hunger and made world peace, the economy is booming and the soldiers can go home now. Where's my nobel peace prize at?
His approval rating at the time was 4.32%. (It would skyrocket to 90.2% after the war ended) 3 letters were exchanged between Marco and Phillips in total leading up to the formal declaration took place.
stop trying to destroy the republic thanks - Aidan Marco
No. - madison
I declare war on you for saying "No." in your logic the word "the" can be used as justification. - Aidan Marco
Battle of Lark Lane
The flag before February 12th, 2024
On December 6th, 2023, 5 divisions of Republican forces garrisoned at Lark Lane were attacked and encircled by 16 Council divisions. Over 1,369 troops died in the battle in total, making this the single deadliest battle in the entire history of the RP, from chiefdoms and tribal eras to the modern day. More people died in the battle than the entirety of the people that died throughout the war during 2023. (excluding this battle) The Republic won the battle and only lost 500 men out of the 1,369. The Battle of Lark Lane was so deadly because of the blizzard and extremely dangerous visibility, reaching only up to 45 feet. Many instances of friendly fire occurred during the battle due to the Republican soldiers having done multiple fog practices during the winter and early spring, especially in the small hills near Lark Lane, which emulated the snow that was recorded on December 6th-7th. The National Weather Service of the United States had issued a severe snow squall and blizzard warning for the entire county of North Plaza, Josephine, and South Plaza, and this was an extremely unpredictable and unexpected storm. Snow had reached up to 2 feet in certain areas including Lark Lane.
A specific flag of the Republic of North Plaza that was weighed to the ground using cinderblocks had remained untouched during the storm and battle and still does today, making it an extremely famous and important part of the Republic's history. As a matter of fact, the Republic's flag was inspired, the brown being the color scheme of the Constitutionalist-Progressive Party (CPP) which was the dominant political party of the RNP, which was famous, respected, and had a high approval rating. The gold was for the golden grass of Southern Oregon and the gold uniforms that the soldiers wore during the battle, and the red stood for the loyalty of the politicians, military, and people. It was later redesigned to fit the new constitutional monarchy established by Marley Renee later in 2024.
Skirmishes at the high school
Because civilian buses (which also had military on board) went to the high school after the middle school hours ended, battles and skirmishes happened at the high school, primarily in the exterior hallways and bus loop. Piper Howard, who was also a famous radio operator who was given an award for assisting the Republican Army Logistics Company during the battle of Lark Lane had been shot in her leg and was rushed on board a bus full of Republican soldiers. The Republican soldiers healed her and the bus, Bus Route 12 became a medical bus as it was typically near the buses that were constantly fighting. Bus Route 11 also became a POW camp of the Council, where many POWs were mistreated and often given no room or entertainment, and they would be severely given a (later banned) yo' momma joke to the heart for talking or doing anything. Multiple Council officers were arrested and/or tried for this after the war.
First Battle of Vestruckland (West Track)
As the snow began to melt, mobilizations (typically via bicycle or car ride) became possible again, leading to another battle as both sides unofficially ceasefired during the blizzard and month of December. A notable example of a ceasefire during this period was the Christmas ceasefire, when a division of Council soldiers and Federation footman had a basketball match at a driveway in the South Neighborhood, and exchanged food and some even playing Fortnite together on their devices. Officer Bradley of the Council described it as a moment when nothing really mattered and that he was relieved of his duty for a day.
By the time January had came, the Council had retreated to the Field as they lost access to the North Plaza Geological Museum, which was on the opposite side of the road from Rayford MS. Republican and Federation divisions moved in and a small force attacked from the museum. These men were asked if they would sacrifice themselves for liberty, and all agreed. They were a diversion to hold off the Council forces as 8 divisions of Republican divisions and 5 Federation divisions attacked from across Lark Creek, a creek seperating the West Neighborhood from the Vestruckland. (West Track) After a bridge was made, a pincer move was made as 3 Kirtlandish divisions attacked from the South Neighborhood with artillery and mortar support, supplied by the Federation. The battle was extremely long, lasting from January 18th at 7:30 AM to January 30th at 12:04 PM. It was a decisive Field victory as all sides secured the Vestruckland, however trench warfare became the new method of fighting after this battle, due to the Track and Field being extremely large, and a second attempt of conquering the other side would take a lot of manpower and supplies. The Field Coalition had used most of their resources for this battle, and the increasing attacks and loss of land and equipment extremely weakened the Council. Phillips, seeing how much they were losing, convinced another power to enter in the war. Salvador Marco and Andrew Cortes were both sent a letter requesting their entry into the war on the Authority Powers side for much resources and representation in the student council. They both accepted.
Spanish entry into the war and the domino chain of entries into the war
As Madison Phillips and the two dictators of the SRSO met, they both agreed to create a coalition in the war. On February 2nd, 2024, they declared war against the Federation of Gamers and the Republic of North Plaza. This greatly helped the new Authority Powers' war efforts. This caused a domino effect to slowly go off, that would progressively get faster and more aggressive.
Principality of New Furryton
Aidan Marco (Salvador Marco will be referred to as "Salvador") met with Issac M. Lynn (IML) and discussed the entry into the war, and decided that they would get another power in the war. Kirtland had been doing well defending in the east, so they decided that having another nation in the east join would be a good idea. They met with Queen Burton of New Furryton and she reluctantly entered the war. Furryton had recently expanded out of the Great Hall and was about to finish industrialization and mobilization efforts, so losing their capitol would not be a big issue as they had a portion of the Northern neighborhoods. This would be a grave mistake for their kingdom. A famous pawvlry officer,
McLoughlin National Union
The newly formed McLoughlin National Union had been invaded by the SRSO so they could move troops through the ampitheater (where McLoughlin was) instead of going around the school. This led to them declaring war and joining the Field Powers. Marco did not immediately recognize their declaration of war since they believed that the invasion was already proving a state of war between the two nations, however his advisors mentioned that they were technically at a state of war for 9 months and did not recognize war until the 9th month of conflict. Marco later reluctantly accepted the Union's request to join the coalition.
Spring 2024 and the I building campaign, socialist uprising
By the time the MLNU joined the war, the weather became significantly more warmer as it adjusted to the average climate. The snow from the 2023 blizzard had completely been unexpected so the nations had taken severe losses. This would begin to mark the downfall and slow ending of the war. Federation divisions landed at the I building and attempted to take it as it was only one building away from the SRSO's capital. Because of garrisons and defenses, the I building campaign was one of the bloodiest and arguably one of the worst logistics and planning of a battle in history, as Federation troops were stuck and almost encircled in the building, even going as far to develop electric robot turrets, the first of their kind. Eventually, 2 Republic divisions held the line so the Federation could escape. Exactly half of the 2 divisions were killed while holding the front lines. Tom Coleman, the general commanding the divisions, infamously threw a grenade by ripping off the pin with his teeth and then shooting it with a pistol for it to have higher velocity. It (according to his own reports) killed 98 soldiers. The true number according to eyewitnesses was 2, including a class pet.
Battles along the frontline were Spanish troops launching urban warfare attacks around hallways and classrooms. The Federation did make a successful supply raid of I2 which was full of food and goods that helped the evacuation of soldiers when the campaign ended in March. On the other side of the school, trenches were built in the soft wet dirt of the Field. King Segal I abdicated on March 15, 2024, as economic collapse destroyed Kirtland, marking the first contestant to leave the war. This is where the Socialist Powers came into play, seeing that the economic collapse could be a perfect opportunity for a communist uprising and a large power as Kirtland had lots of potential for industry and infrastructure. A militia and de-facto soldiers uprised in Kirtland and destroyed the government, leading to the establishment of a socialist state, although the kingdom had shattered into multiple tribes. Some tribes formed during the Great Collapse of Kirtland still exist and are still tribal/feudal chiefdoms, although most merged with the socialists or were colonized.
Another player was entering the war; the Sublime Sultanate of Rayford, a sultanate ran by majority (and now entirely) Muslim students. Some were also from diverse Muslim regions like Chechnya (which in this universe seceded from the Russian Federation AGAIN in a third war, caused by Karl Benson. They later lost and crackdowns led to much of the population leaving to the United States or the EU.) and Iran, however most of them were just of heritage. Their religion united them into a massive sultanate led by the most powerful of them, Dean Abbas. The Abbas Dynasty was the strongest one as it had solidified itself since the entirety of the factions roleplay had began, annexing tribes and militarily growing as fast as possible. They saw the opportunity to get land and slaves in the war, so they declared war on the Federation and soon began a new front based in the northeast by the Bensonland (named after Karl Benson, a Republican general) which is also now known as Kirtland. (as in the kingdom that used to exist on this land)
Governor Carol Warren of his own state in the RNP also led troops to the Central Beaver Pond in Rayford, Oregon, where the divisions would sleep and camp out as well as fish from the large pond in the center of the Beaver Creek-Lark Creek crossroad. A major battle took place 2 days after the men arrived at the pond and the Republican garrison survived and only lost 15 men out of 500 attacking soldiers from the Sultanate.
Because of their "heritage", sultan soldiers would be highly skilled in dry/desert warfare, due to part of North Plaza being dry North American savannah. Inexperienced Federation soldiers would die much more than Republican soldiers because 70 percent of the RNPs' land was a savannah. The Federation only controlled suburban areas within North Rayford, only sharing a large border along Interstate 5.
Production lines were suddenly halted as socialist workers and unions rised to gangs and militias as workers' rights were killed after the Council voted against voluntary occupation, essentially making the workers within the Council slaves. Many were killed as workers fled to the SFSR. Actual "slaves" were imported from Central Rayford gangs and tribes who were used to fill production lines. Socialists would coordinate attacks against the Council, however some also coordinated attacks against the Republic and Federation.
Eastern Revolt
Organized rebel groups revolted against the Sultan for his war crimes and mistreatment of minorities. The revolt started when a camp of anti-Sultan revolutionaries met with President Marco and requested that they help start revolts against the Sultanate as the campaign in the east went further. Marco agreed and supplied and sent some divisions to help them out as multiple minorities within the area and some chiefdoms (some of which still exist to this day) to revolt and invade the Sultanate respectfully.
- Chechens seeking their own inclusive Chechen-Muslim Caucasian state
- Armenians seeking their own inclusive Armenian representation within any state
- Ryrians and Egyptians seeking a pan Arab state
- North Africans wishing to reform the old Empire of West Tunis (a former empire praised for its' inclusion of only North African Muslims lead by another Sultanate)
End of the war
A campaign lead by Tom Coleman was targeted at multiple buildings within NPMS was successful, leading to the capture and subsequent military occupation of the B, C, A, I, and J buildings. However, urban and guerilla warfare proceeded to ensue for a month until the war ended. There were no decided frontlines or areas within the battlefield that were under one factions' control. Soldiers would encounter pockets of enemy troops entrenched and remains of tanks, entire soldiers equipment burnt or abandoned with a corpse or skeleton inside, all within only 10 feet of their original position. The Coleman campaign was the second deadliest military campaign within the entire history of the roleplay, however none of the battles came close as battles were scattered around the entire urban part of the school. The largest battle resulted in the deaths of 50 soldiers (18 are currently unidentified due to heavy mutilation, wounds, and an artillery shell that pulvarized an entire soldiers' body, only their helmet and feet remaining.) and hundreds of equipment destroyed. Only a single individual piece of equipment was recoverable, and it was a pocket watch that is now in a museum.
Meanwhile, the Sultan quickly collapsed as it was a weak old empire based on nationalist ideals (that were not properly adopted) and military power over political order. Revolts broke out resulting in rioting, vandalism, looting, domestic terrorist attacks on political buildings, bombings, shootings, collapse of social order, and hundreds of murders, deserting of soldiers and officials, and even certain provinces of the Sultan declared independence and were ignored by the Sultan. Their army was disbanding itself, collapsing, and the loyal soldiers would eventually get encircled by General Coleman. The conditions of captured Sultan POWs was controversial as they were given limited amounts of food, however a rising nationalist/extremist ideology was growing, so General Coleman used that as a justification for the war crimes commit on POWs. The Sultan and his Viceroy (Dean Abbas and Jamar Davis respectfully) went into hiding until Abbas was found laying down inside of an underground chamber in the savannah. A Republican soldier found him and he was arrested as a person of interest, and was later executed 2 months after the war ended. Davis surrendered but then escaped to a clique outside of the war in Central Rayford, out of the school district.
End of the war in the Western front
The Socialists captured and killed Council officers and generals as they completely encircled Council buildings. The Federation and Republic continued battles in the school until on May 8, 2024, when the last Council leaders surrendered. Fighting continued with supporting militias and the few lasting soldiers until June 5 when the de-facto leader of the Council, Officer Andrew Cortes surrendered. On June 11, an armistice was signed, ending the war.
Treaty of I2
On June 31, all 3 sides signed a treaty.
The following were the changes made and agreed upon.
- Disbandment of the Council's armed forces
- Disbandment of the Council's government except the Council itself
- All council members except Saul Henett fired and imprisoned
- Demilitarization of the school grounds except the field
- Factories of the council destroyed and all equipment seized 3 ways between the Federation, Republic, and the Socialists.
- All territory divided into 3, a workers state in the A, B, E, F, and G buildings, the field and Great Hall now in the hands of the republic, and the rest was taken by the Federation. A few areas were set as "unclaimed" allowing clans and cliques to take those over.
This treaty, although it seemed right at the time, would just lead to the Second War of North Plaza in only 4 months. (which is like 19 years in the roleplay)

Council
Water based weaponry
- A22 Sawed Off Water Rifle - a short commercial semi-automatic rifle. It is known as the gun that lost the war, as the trigger often jammed, and it had low ammo and a slow reload that relied on slow plastic tools that at the very least took 7 seconds to reload. This lead to some soldiers creating trigger extensions out of cardboard, rope, and cable ties, to create a lever handle to avoid needing to use their index finger to unjam the trigger. These extensions were very experimental and they were dangerous to the weapon as drilling holes into the trigger could result in even more jamming. It was also extremely heavy when held with one hand, weighing around 10 pounds due to the water and the weight of the attachments that came with the A22, like the scope and foglight. The A22 saw usage from the start of the war to the last 3 months, it was perfect in the summer campaigns by waterways such as Lark Creek and Beaver Creek, due to the A22's ability to slurp water without a plastic adapter/reloader.
- A11 Submachine Watergun - a small, compact machine watergun that ran on batteries. It relied on a small container that could open with a latch on the top that sealed. This made it a favorite among Council conscripts due to its' easy reload and reliability. It had a medium fire rate that could take out enemies quickly around corners, however its' range was VERY limited. As an unknown soldier once told commanding officer Derrick Truman, "You'd get yourself killed trying to long shoot someone with this."
- LE-2 - A simple 3D printed commercial semi-automatic handgun that could be mass produced easily. The entire gun acted as a magazine, loading water in through a sealable hole. Because of its' cheap design, water leaking was common, and during winter campaigns, the water ammunition could even freeze unless reinforced with fabric paddings. There were also some handles with small amounts of mercury inside of sealed compartments that would help heat up the entire gun. It would sometimes jam due to gravity and water being loaded in without a specific mechanism. The LE-2 was notorious for jamming and poor reloading, thus it was phased out by the end of the Winter Campaign. However, due to its' small plastic shape, it could easily be taken apart, modified, or scrapped into spare parts for other guns.
- 33K Pressure Weapon - The most powerful watergun besides one of its' own variants, the 33K was not initially designed for war. Instead, it was simply a pressure washer commonly found at hardware stores and retailers. It had extremely great firepower in their time, and its' super pressurized munitions could be used both as a sniper and armor piercer. However, it had extremely terrible recoil, almost as bad as an actual firearm, thus it was usually mounted with a camera tripod or it had a bipod attached to the barrel. It also was used in tank warfare due to its' anti-tank/armor piercing capability. The 33K *famously* was known to tear apart cardboard and fabrics into soggy pieces. It was banned after the war due to its' capability to do serious real world injuries and even death on members of the roleplay.
- 30K Pressure Artillery - The only variant of the 33K Pressure Weapon that was not banned despite being the most powerful variant, was the 30K Pressure Artillery. Users would saw off the barrels entirely, creating a large spreadshot pressure gun. They would also plug in more unconventional liquids that would still work inside of the gun, such as certain cooking oils. These would not harm a user as much, however the higher density would do more long term damage to static items such as cardboard and paper. This would either create stains or entirely soak and destroy paper-based defenses. Eventually, by the end of the war, this unconventional shotgun-like weapon would evolve and officially be turned into an artillery gun of sorts that was mounted to the ground. The pressure was actually LOWER than the 33K as it of course was meant to be used in direct combat, rather than long ranged combat. This gun saw usage in battles including the ones in the Bensonland campaign. It could easily take down medium-distance troops, the oil would also attract insects and other animals to harass anyone coated by it,, thus it was used to scout and "weed out" entrenched/camoflauged troops.
Dart/solid projectile based weaponry
- L22 Standard Issue Dart Gun - The L22 was a generic store-bought dart gun that had semi automatic capabilities. It was very popular and used often due to its' customizability (for things like longer barrels, scopes, grips, and stabilizers) and ergonomics that made it a simple but powerful rifle. It was used from marines to sailors to rangers and to the average enlisted soldier. It however had its' weaknesses like the lack of working underwater, its' revolver based loading system, and its' overall size. An L22 scaled in 1.5 feet/45.7 cm that made it uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous to use in urban/close combat where longer barrels or a longer arm grip could lead to friendly fire or being unable to aim quickly in fast fighting.
- L21 Standard Issue Dart Sidearm - The L21 was a magazine based handgun that was semi-automatic. It was the savior and killer of multiple soldiers throughout the war and other wars to come in the future. This was because of its' practical and fast usage, making it a quick sidearm to switch to (because switching to your handgun is faster than reloading!) and a deadly weapon to be met with. It had great room-length range, it could easily be reloaded with magazines, and the internal components were made of safer materials like aluminum that were cheap and usable underwater. This combined with its' fire rate and size made it one of the most iconic and beloved handguns used in the Industrial era of warfare.
Air based warfare and chemical warfare
The Council was known to use chemicals like bleach, fluid bromine, chlorine gas (or solid chlorine tablets) and household cleaning supplies meant to stun, injure, slow, or kill infantry, or to spoil and ruin land by poisoning soils and killing wildlife. These chemicals were deployed in multiple ways, typically from balloons, artillery guns, grenades, or water based weaponry (via replacing fuel with the chemical).
- Hot Air Balloon - Numerous small hot air balloons were constructed by the council but no uniform or standard model was ever conceived by the Council until after the war. A hot air balloon would usually consist of a basket or bucket with utility holes, rope or cable ties in said utility holes connecting to an elastic and stretchy rubber/fabric that would expand with an open flame machine. Typically, a hot air balloon would act as a bomber or reconnaisance device, either having water balloon bombs, chemical balloon bombs, or a smoke grenade dropper. For reconnaisance, they would either have an automatic camera taking pictures every 10-15 seconds, or a camera recording its' whole journey. They would be powered with batteries but because power sources were not enough for both the motor and the bombing compartments, they'd often fall out of the sky after an hour of usage and crash onto unsuspecting units, leading to the next air innovation of war...
- Rope-Held Balloon - A much cheaper version of the hot air balloon, these would instead be helium sealed balloons tied to a basket or bucket which would have utility holes. They had the same bombing and reconnaissance capabilities as a hot air balloon, however slightly limited due to it's largest flaw- the rope-held balloon would of course be directed by a rope or ropes, that could easily be let go on accident or they could be shot by pressure guns/darts. Sometimes, the ropes would snap due to high wind speeds and/or the ropes would reach so low-altitude that infantry could use blades to cut the rope and capture the balloon. No uniform or standard models were made by the Council until after the war.
- Chemical shells - Artillery guns would sometimes be loaded with expensive shells loaded with chemicals like liquid bromine or even in extremely rare cases, burning chlorine tablets (that created chlorine gas). Chlorine tablets would be timed to set on fire by a pyrotechnic device or by the artillery cannon, and they would burn and lead to devastating gases of chlorine that killed many during the war. Liquid bromine would spill into trenches and poison infantry and agriculture would also be targeted, leading to famines amongst the students.
- Chemical grenades - A compact grenade when activated would lead to a timer activating a gas explosive, usually containing tear gas stolen from police departments or crude chlorine tablet burners.
- Water based weaponry - Pressure artillery guns would sometimes be loaded with liquid bromine, bleach, cleaning supplies, or other fluid chemicals.
more to come
I finally finished it, I guess. I only finished the main part but there's some other "wikipedia"-esque sections I should probably fill in. - AmigoVilla2004
