Malik Jones Riot (or 2024 Bloxburg City Riot) was a large-scale riot occurred at Bloxburg, Bloxburg Valley, Robloxia on February 4th, 2024. Two officers, Alex McCarington and A. Romeo were acquitted from charges from murder of Malik Jones which said by Carmen County District Attorney's Office. President Roblox have declared State of Emergency at Bloxburg and surrounding areas of Bloxburg. The riots ended at March 30th, 2024 after two assassins killed two officers who killed Malik Jones.
Background
Pre-Riots (Mid-to-Late 2023)
Before the riots broke out, there had been numerous disturbing reports circulating about instances where African-American individuals were mistreated by officers belonging to the CBPD, particularly within African-American communities. It was on June 10th, 2023, that a Korean-American High School Student by the name of Michael Bloxy ventured out to a local convenience store. As he casually placed a can of Bloxy-Cola into his backpack, the store owner, Aiden Wood, mistakenly perceived his actions as shoplifting and therefore decided to intervene by brandishing his .38 special revolver.
"Stop, Thief!" Aiden Wood's voice boomed across the store as he accused Michael.
Confused and taken aback, Michael protested, "What? I wasn't stealing, I am paying for this with 3 robucks!"
"You were stealing," Aiden Wood insisted, his tone unwavering.
Desperate to prove his innocence, Michael hastily offered, "Here! Take my money!"
In a tragic turn of events, Michael tossed his 3 robucks towards Aiden, who callously fired his revolver, striking Michael in the chest with a fatal shot.
Following the horrifying incident, Aiden Wood found himself swiftly apprehended by deputies from the Carmen County Sheriff's Department. The aftermath of this dreadful encounter left a lasting impact on the entire community, fueling further discussions and reflections on racial tensions and law enforcement practices. It also highlighted the urgent need for systemic change and accountability within police departments across the nation to prevent such senseless tragedies from occurring again.
Murder of Malik Jones (August 18th, 2023)
Malik Jones, a young man with a carefree spirit and a love for the open road, found himself on a routine walk back home one fateful afternoon. As he strolled with a casual gait, the familiar route brought him to the point where the street lay quiet, devoid of any oncoming traffic. Seizing the opportunity to cross quickly, he deftly made his way to the other side, unaware of the imminent turn of events that would alter the course of his life.
To his surprise, just as he completed his crossing, he was suddenly approached by two officers from the CBPD, their authoritative presence casting a shadow over the tranquility of the scene. What began as a routine encounter soon spiraled into a troubling escalation, as the officers, armed with their sleek Glock pistols, made a fatal decision that would shatter the peace of the day.
As the echoes of the gunshot reverberated through the air, Malik's childhood friend, Chris Bauer, who had been nearby, was drawn to the commotion unfolding before him. With a mixture of shock and disbelief, Chris fumbled for his phone, managing to capture on video the tragic events that transpired in a matter of seconds. The footage he recorded would become a testament to the injustice and brutality that lurked beneath the surface of their seemingly ordinary neighborhood.
Court sessions (August 19th, 2023-February 4th, 2024)
A day after, two officers were charged for abuse of power, first-degree murder, and police brutality. There, Chris show the judge the footage of the shooting at the site where his friend was shot dead in front of his home.
After numerous court sessions in February 4th, 2024, Judge acquitted two officers from the charges, dropping off from them. However, the scandal sparked throughout the city of Bloxburg. Many protesters screaming and yelling with their signs at every CBPD stations around City of Bloxburg.
Riots
Rioters attack CBPD Riot Officers by using molotovs, rocks, 9mm handguns, and combat knives to combat with CBPD Officers and LEOs around Bloxburg. Lootings happened at every businesses around City of Bloxburg. BVHP and BVNG assist CBPD during the riots.
CBPD Station 12 Shootout (February 6th, 2024)
Three rioters breached in the station where officers stationed themselves to strike back at the rioters. One of rioters threw molotov at the officer who was screaming while burning. CBFD arrived after officers took down three rioters.
Burger Queen Bombing (February 10th, 2024)
One masked man placed a bomb for the site where CBPD officers respond to the fake call. As they arrived, the bomb was triggered and exploded, killing five officers in progress. Fire trucks and ambulances arrived 3 minutes later. The identity of the bomber was unknown.
Valentine's Day Massacre (February 14th, 2024)
Students and Staff at Bloxburg Middle School cautiously keeping themselves alive from angry mob or criminals outside campus. Outside of campus, there's two armed men holding AK-47 and Bizon guns wearing masks. They attacked anyone in their sight at school. School Resource Officer, James Seneca saw them attacking the students. He raise his 9mm pistol and charge at two attackers. unfortunately, He got shot by one of them before taking a chance to take them down. Students and Staff were hidding in the rooms, hoping they won't get shot by armed men. CBPD and CCSD arrived after they received distress call from James. The officers and deputies arrest two shooters. Paramedics arrived at the school 5 minutes later.
Attack on Bloxburg Valley State Route 405 (March 2nd, 2024)
People are evacuating the city due to riots increasingly dangerous. The black suvs blocked the way and one man fired RPG-7 at one of the car to explode it, killing driver and 2 passengers in process. The drivers got out of their cars and run for cover while screaming. SVHP Troopers arrived and took down armed men on State Route 405.
Union Pacific Train Robbery Attempt (March 6th, 2024)
Group of robbers approach Union Pacific train. However, their plan didn't go right when Union Pacific Police and CBPD spotted them attempting to rob the train. They arrested the robbers for attempting to rob the train.
March 10th Protest (March 10th, 2024)
Anti-Racism and BLM protesters marched through the streets of suburban area of Bloxburg. This event was broadcasted on news programs such as Bloxburg Channel 5 News and Robloxia National News. Numerous protesters were interviewed by news reporters-alike during and after the protests.
Bloxburg Metro Station shootout (March 23rd, 2024)
Three gangsters attacked rioters at the underground station. The security guards comes in with their M4A1 rifles but they got shot injuried by them, forcing CBPD to come here to arrest them. The ambulances arrived at the site 9 minutes later.
March 29th Bloxburg Hall storming (March 29th, 2024)
The final event before Riots ending and killing of two officers who killed black man the next day. Rioters breached in the city hall with Mayor's Bodyguards and SVNG Soldiers ready to prevent them to attempt assassinate the mayor. One rioter threw molotov into tourism office, making the room on fire and later spread around the city hall. CBFD arrived to extinguish the fire inside the city hall. The rioters were soon arrested by SVNG Soldiers, SVHP Troopers, and CBPD Officers respectively.
Alex McCarington and A. Romeo assassination (March 30th, 2024)
Two assassins perform driveby at Alex McCarington with their TEC-9s, killing him instantly. Upon arriving at Romeo's house, They placed the bomb on the front door where Romeo was sleeping on his bed. Romeo woke up and see the package on the front door. As he took it inside, the bomb exploding, destroying his house and killing him in the process. Soon after the death of Malik Jones' murderers, the riots have calmed down. Fire trucks and ambulance arrived at the bombing site.
Aftermath
100,000+ Businesses and Homes were destroyed during the riots. The repair was announced by the mayor and it will begin tomorrow with all the support from the construction companies around Bloxburg.
