The Potato Transit Authority (PTA) is a public transportation company that provides essential transport services to the Potatoburg metropolitan area in Potatoburg, Robloxia, a major city with a high population density. The PTA is responsible for ensuring that the residents of Westpotat, Cadland, Krypton and nearby neighborhoods, including Downtown Potatoburg, have access to reliable and efficient public transportation.

Robloxians are free to operate, ride, or simply observe the trains inside their lines.

Subway lines

The PTA subway system is a vital component of the city's transportation infrastructure and is the preferred mode of transportation for over 4 million passengers every week. With over 26 subway lines, the system is one of the largest in the country, spanning across the vast expanse of the city. Each line is designed to cater to the needs of the commuters, with Express and Local services providing options for different travel preferences. It is also known as the Potato City Subway (PCS).

The Express service is an excellent option for passengers who need to get to their destination quickly. It stops at select stations, reducing travel time significantly. In contrast, the Local service stops at all stations, making it ideal for commuters who need to get to their destination in a more relaxed manner.

To make navigation more convenient for passengers, each subway line is color-coded and has a distinct shape.

The Fifth Avenue lines, also known as the PID Fifth Avenue Line, the WPT Waterside Boulevard Line, and the PID Garcia Avenue line, form an essential part of the Potato City Subway system's rapid transit network. These subway lines are operated under the B Division of the PTA network, serving four different subway services that run between Rentar Plaza, Union Turnpike, Halson Terminal, Panthalassic Avenue, and Intervale Square. The Fifth Avenue lines are a crucial transportation link connecting various parts of the city, facilitating easy and fast travel for commuters.

The line was opened to the public on June 30th, 2021, making it the second rapid transit line to be opened in the PTA network. The subway system is color-coded, with the B and D lines identified as orange while the E and K subway lines are identified by the blue color. The subway system's modern design offers ease of access to commuters, with multiple entry and exit points throughout the subway system.

Notably, the subway system connects Potatoburg's main airport, LaGuardia Airport, to the city center through the 47 Street-LaGuardia Airport station. However, the LGA Express service, which previously operated on the line, ceased its services in April 2021 for unknown reasons.

As of March 17, 2022, the PTA has blacklisted Automatic Trains Group, a company founded by SonicXHedgehog, for using their trains illicitly and refusing to discontinue their usage.

Incidents:

On May 20, 2023, 10:09 AM Telamon Sea Time, the cars and the trains of the subway have been reported to have disappeared randomly. Unfortunately, the owners could not do anything to fix this.

Trivia

  • The subway system and the city are all parodies of New York City, and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. The subway system appears to be inspired by New Blockers City.
