An unnamed meteor shower occurred in an unknown constellation, peaking on January 16, 2022. Seven meteors were observed by Neo-Japanese since the beginning of the unnamed meteor shower. All of the meteors impacted a metropolitan area in Neo-Japan. Luckily, all the meteors were 2.52 meters in projectile diameter, but unluckily, those meteors had an impact velocity of 72 km/s (257 kilo-studs/s). What was surprising to Robloxians was that they were made out of white plastic (which implied that the projectile density was 700 kg/m3) and spherical. Thanks to the fire emitted by the meteors, the nighttime sky of the metropolitan area suddenly turned really red and eventually, a deep orange. As the meteor shower died, the night sky gradually turned to neon orange, then flame reddish orange, then CGA brown, then burnt sienna, then cocoa, before returning to its normal blackness.
Following this, Robloxians calculated that an impact from one of the meteors would be in the order of 1.52 x 1013 Joules or 3.6 kilotons of TNT, able to destroy missile silos up to 50 meters (179 studs) and deal heavy damage up to 330 meters (1.18 kilo-studs), moderate damage up to 0.7 kilometers (2.5 kilo-studs), and light damage up to 1.8 kilometers (6.4 kilo-studs).
This was the first meteor shower to strike the Neo-Japan area since the 2018 Neo-Osaka meteor shower.
