(WIP)
The Groupe Internationale de Phantom Alpha (GIPA) is a Robloxian private paramilitary organization founded by Ettywatty. Established in 2022, the organization is dedicated to combating any form of threat, including terrorists. However, the group is not heavily aligning with one side and is mostly independent. Its operations are mostly centered around land, and air, with the latter being more frequent.
The GIPA is known primarily for its aerial incursions in Robloxia, as well as its ongoing campaign against foreign terrorist organization “Arle Nadja Attackers”.
History
2022 (Establishment)
Upon hearing of the countless incidents happening in Robloxia, visionary Ettywatty decided to establish the organization for the sole purpose of, according to him, “delivering what we perceive to be justice”.
In January of 2022, would establish the headquarters near the city of Pacifico, starting off with 1500 personnel complete with modest weapons and equipment such as simple, but up-armored Ro-Humvee armored vehicles.
GIPA’s First Combat Action
The organization’s first recorded combat action was in the Town of Robloxia, where they managed to quell rebels demanding the release of a popular, but very controversial Robloxian from prison.
The rebels attempted to use their cars to ram the local Robloxia Police Department forces, who struggled to stop them. When the RPD failed, the GIPA suddenly arrived in a convoy of Humvees and initially demanded that the rioters disperse. When the rioters did not disperse and attempted to attack them with firearms stolen from the RPD’s police station, the organization’s forces opened fire, killing at least 160 people in a massive firefight, in which they were able to win.
This marked the first and only combat action by the GIPA in 2022, and for the rest of the year, the organization mostly trained its personnel.
2023
By March 2023, the GIPA procured seven units of the UH-60L(R) Bloxhawk, a utility helicopter with the capability of being configured for attack missions. Despite this being enough for an air force, the organization would not establish an air force for the next three months.
On June 2023, the GIPA managed to procure seven F-15R “Blox Eagles” utilized for air superiority and ground strike missions. With a proper fighter jet now in their inventory, the GIPA Air Force was established. By July, they were able to acquire secondhand C-130R Ro-cules transport aircraft. By this time, the organization had over 5,000 total members.
By October 2023, the GIPA Air Force would go on to see their first successful combat mission, when their F-15s shot down three fighter jets belonging to the Team Nyami Terrorists, who were attempting to hijack a civilian plane in Robloxian waters. This became the first and last engagement in which the GIPAAF utilized its F-15s before their service activity became sporadic. It was later discovered that the reason why the GIPAAF F-15s shifted to limited service was because of their ordnances’ unreliability; their missiles, when fired, seemed to fall off their rail, resulting in no actual missile hits being scored. The GIPAAF F-15 pilots involved had to resort to shooting down the ANA fighter jets by painstakingly using their aircraft’s internal gun. According to one of the pilots, Lieutenant Soragoi “Sora” Fishgamer, using the F-15 in an aerial engagement was “like using only the machine gun from a powerful tank.”
2024
The organization spent almost the entire year maintaining covert peace around Robloxia and its counties. A bombing attempt at Brookhaven was thwarted by the organization when they captured the perpetrator and managed to bring him into custody. It saw multiple incursions with terrorists groups, becoming victorious with almost every one of them. However, it was also during these incursions that they also faced Robloxian forces attempting to kill them as well, confusing them for another terrorist group. The GIPA members consequently also shot the Robloxian forces out of self defense, an action that was defended by the leader, Ettywatty, who publicized the organization the same year. As a result of the whole ordeal, the GIPA’s public image is mixed; some relate them to terrorists, while some relate them to vigilantes.
By the end of the year, the GIPA Air Force placed orders for 12 F-16R Fighting Ro-Falcons to replace its F-15Rs for multirole missions.
2025
The delivery of the 12 F-16Rs ordered by the GIPAAF began on February 2025, with the last aircraft being received by the air force on May 2025. During flight tests, training exercises, and minor engagements, the F-16s, despite being harder to handle according to its pilots, far surpassed the capabilities of their F-15Rs; their missiles now launched and tracked towards their targets with no issue. Their modular capability also allowed for more operational flexibility, giving them the ability to not only establish air superiority, but to also provide close air support.
On June 30, 2025, the F-16Rs were heavily used as attack aircraft by the GIPAAF in Operation Brickfire, an active campaign against terrorist group "Arle Nadja Attackers", who were attempting to slowly take over Robloxian terrain. The jets would see their first engagement above Bloxburg Valley on July 6, when they shot down fourteen ANA fighter jets in the area. Since July 10, their aircraft successfully destroyed ANA posts around Bloxburg Valley through airstrikes.
In the process, one of their F-16s shot down an F-14 Bloxcat belonging to Slendernawa’s Aerial Forces of Liberation “under the assumption that they were hostile”.
