The Incident at Michoacana was a mutual purge event between two feuding gangs in Michoacana, El Chimanoa and El Famaloa. It occurred in the early morning of April 2, 2016, after four armed men from El Chimanoa on a Rotoya vehicle suddenly trespassed into El Famaloa's territory and killed two men from the cartel.
