The Bloxburg Valley Highway Patrol is the principal state police service in the State of Bloxburg Valley, serving all areas of Bloxburg Valley that are not covered by, or through a mutual-aid agreement with other law enforcement agencies.
History
Bloxburg Valley Highway Patrol was formed in 1889 as the Bloxburg State Sheriff, and served all of the state on horseback and through foot patrols, fending against outlaws and bandits.
Around 1929, the major increase in vehicular traffic prompted a reform of the agency, to which in 1932, Bloxburg State Sheriff was renamed to Bloxburg Valley Highway Patrol, and bought its first patrol vehicle, which is viewable at the First Response Museum in Bloxburg City nowdays.
In 1947, it was accredited for being the largest law-enforcement agency in Robloxia, with around 700 members.
In 1978, BVHP was the first department in Bloxburg Valley to require EVOC training to become a trooper. If you could not do such training on your own time with a certified instructor, the department had a training course for recruits during POST training.
