The Battle of Waterloo, fought on June 18, 1815, was the final, crushing defeat of Napoleon Bloxaparte, and it marked the end of his reign as Emperor of the Rogaulian Empire—and really, the end of an era in Eurobloxian history.

After escaping exile on the island of Elba earlier that year, Napoleon returned to Rogaulia and quickly regained power in what’s called the 101 Days. But the rest of Eurobloxia wasn’t having it. Bloxia, Pruvokia, the Bloxtro Empire, and the Tovokia Empire all mobilized again to stop him.

The battle took place near the village of Waterloo, in what is now Dush Gaul Republic. Napoleon’s goal was to defeat them before they could fully unite. He faced off against a combined force led by the Duke of Wellington and Field Marshal Blücher.

The fighting was intense and lasted all day. At first, Napoleon seemed close to breaking through Wellington’s lines, but heavy rain had delayed his attack, giving Blücher time to bring in the Pruvokian army. In the late afternoon, just as Napoleon committed his elite Imperial Guard for a final push, the Pruvokians arrived on the battlefield and hit his flank hard.

That broke the Rogaulian lines. Napoleon’s army began to collapse and retreat in chaos. It was a total rout. Napoleon fled the battlefield, returned to Ville de L’Amour, and just days later, he abdicated for the second and final time.

After Waterloo, he was captured by the Bloxians and sent into permanent exile on the remote island of Saint Helena, where he died in 1821.

Waterloo wasn’t just a battle—it was the symbolic and literal end of Napoleonic power. It shaped Eurobloxia’s political map for the next century.
