Metro Transport (formerly known as Rail Transport) is a rapid-transit system in Ro-Grecce which serves the city of Ro-Athens. TTheGreekZeus launched the metro in 2018. There are 9,964 drivers, 8 Staff Employees and 1 Chief Executive officer as of 2025, This subway has 8 million visits since it appeared on Roblox.
Notes
There are currently 3 lines in Metro Transport:
- -Line 1 (with 20 stations) from Peiraus to Irini.
- -Line 2 (with 13 stations) from Sepolia to Ag.Dimitrios
- - Line 3 (with 10 stations) from Monastiraki to Douk Plakentias.
- There are currently five trains in Metro Transport: -1st Generation (operates in Lines 2&3) -2nd Generation (operates in Lines 2&3) -8th Batch Generation (operates in Line 1) -10th Batch Generation (operates in Line 1) and -11th Batch Generation (operates in Line 1).
- There is a certain route in Lines 2 & 3 where trains can start from Sepolia station and terminate at Ethniki Amyna station, Or you can go from Sepolia-Douk Plakentias. The tunnel that connects these two Lines can be found after Panepistimo station (with destination to Syntagma station) and after Evangelismos station (with destination to Monastiraki station). There is also a tunnel that connects Lines 1 & 2 but trains do not pass by this tunnel.
- The Control Centre in which the signaling is controlled and the trains' location can be seen is located at Sepolia Depot. There are three floors and each one has its own line. The first floor (the bottom one) is Line 1's control center. The second floor (the middle one) is Line 2's control center and the 3rd floor (the top one) are Line 3's control center. Previously, Sepolia Depot looked completely different from the current depot. The 1st floor of that depot contained Line 2 and the 2nd floor of that depot contained Line 3 only. There was a floor which had no windows and doors that was probably going to be used for Line 1 but since the depot changed, the Control Centre was also changed.
- The map of the railway system can be seen in the train. Passengers can view the entire railway system, while drivers can only see the railway system up to their current location.
- The train is equipped with controls. Robloxians on the driver's seat can speed up the train, slow down the train, toggle the lights of the train, set the accelerator of the train to neutral, emergency brake the train, make train announcements (currently only limited to Last Stop and Off Service announcements), close and open doors, toggle the engine, and blast the train's high and low horns. They can also view the train from the train's perspective.
Renovations
This subway system has had three renovations so far.
The subway system was introduced in March 2018. It had only Line 2 route (Sepolia-Syntagma) and 1st Generation was the only available train that Robloxians could drive. Back then Robloxians could access Attiki station in Line 1 but there was nothing more than two platforms and some metal fences. There was no depot to send any train to in that renovation. However, there were four tracks outside in the surface where they led to Sepolia. Robloxians could also open and close the doors whenever they wanted.
The first renovation of the subway was completed on March 20, 2021. It was the version where TTheGreekZeus changed the whole look of the subway. First of all, he constructed Sepolia Depot, so trains got a better place to stay. All of the stations got a renovation too and so did the 1st generation train. The legislation changed; Robloxians must open the door for at least 20 seconds before closing them. Signaling was also added inside stations and between them in order to make traffic less complicated and avoid any trains crashing. Line 3 was under construction, but everything changed because the 3rd rail which powers up the trains had to be added.
The second renovation of the subway was completed on December 25, 2021. Traffic lights that were between stations were removed and could be found only in stations and the depot. In this version, there was a PIS (Passenger Information System) sign which informed passengers when a train is about to arrive. The 1st Generation train got a renovation once again but this time it looked way better. Some new details were added such as the aeration system, two lights in the edges of the cars where when a door opens the lower light would light to show that the doors have opened. It was the first train that TTheGreekZeus built. Line 3 was also fully constructed in the system with 8 stations from Monastiraki to Ethniki Amyna. Later, there was also a depot added before Monastiraki station where it contains four tracks. Two new routes were also added with one of them being Monastiraki-Ethniki Amyna and the other one being Sepolia-Ethniki Amyna. When Robloxians were doing the Sepolia-Ethniki Amyna route, right when they departed from Panepistimio station, the X tracks right next to the station would switch and make the train drive to the opposite track of Line 2 (track to Sepolia) and would go straight ahead to a small tunnel instead of entering Syntagma station. When they would enter line 3, they would still drive in the opposite track and would be switched back to the track that leads to Ethniki Amyna. This route is available even today. Finally, passengers could have access to stations in Line 1 which were connected with Lines 2 & 3. Monastiraki station in Line 1 was the earliest station that had an access for players to Line 1, the second being Omonia and the last one being Attiki.
The third renovation of the subway was completed on October 27th, 2022. This is the current iteration of the subway. Line 1 was introduced with 11 stations from Peiraus to Attiki. There are two kinds of trains that operate in Line 1, which are the 8th Batch Generation and the 10th Batch Generation. There are also some speculations that the 1st Generation train might be operating in Line 1 in the future. The 2nd Generation also made its debut which made passengers go crazy as it is one of the most loved trains in the Ro-Greek railway system. Apart from the trains, Sepolia Depot was entirely renovated. The signaling color which allows trains to proceed changed from Green to Yellow. A new floor was added to the Control Centre which had Line 1 signaling and trains location. The maintenance building was changed too and had more tracks than the other one.
The fourth renovation of the subway was completed on August 20th, 2023.Four new stations were built to Line 1 with them being: Aghios Nikolaos, Kato Patissia, Aghios Eleftherios, and Ano Patissia. The Passenger Information System was also added to Line 1 to inform passengers whether a train is coming and a combination of 8th and 10th batch generation train was added too.
The fifth and most current renovation of the subway was completed on April 20th, 2024.Three more stations were built to Line 1 with them being:Perissos,Pefkakia and Nea Ionia. The 11th Batch Train was also added as well alongside with the extension. In September 2024, the Halandri and Douk Plakentias stations on line 3 will be opened, and the Irakilo station on line 1 will be opened. In October, the Sytagma station will be rebuilt. In January 2025, the Akropoli, Sgrou-fix, Neos Kosmos, Aghios Loannis and Dafni stations on line 2 will be opened.
Lines
Line 1
Line 1 serves as the oldest railway system in Ro-Athens which operates till today. However, it is the most recent line added to the subway. Line 1 has 18 stations, and it starts from Peiraus and ends at Nea Ionia. Formerly, Line 1 had five stations only on May 1st starting from Attiki and ending on Thissio station. Since then, more stations were added and eventually Tavros Station became the terminal station, meaning that the subway had seven stations back then. Back then, the only way to drive Line 1 is to be employed with the subway. The only trains that were able to drive were the 1st Generation train (which is planned to make a comeback to the line) and 8th Batch Generation. Line 1 is the only line that has the most depots. There are 5 depots in total: onein Attiki, one in Omonoia, one in Thissio, one in Faliro and a big one in Peiraus. Here is the list of the stations:

Line 2
Line 2 is a railway system that has 13 stations, and it starts from Sepolia and ends in Dafni. Line 2 was the first line to be constructed in the subway and it has had two renovations so far. Line 2 is also the only line that has the biggest depot in the subway system. There are currently two kinds of trains operating in Line 2 which are 1st Generation and 2nd Generation. Back in its first days, Line 2 was the only line to allow Robloxians to transfer to Line 1 stations. In the first iteration of the subway system, Attiki Station was the only station that players could enter Line 1 but there were only two platforms and metal fences around them. Eventually, it was renovated such that Omonia became the only station that had connections with Line 1. It is unknown if Attiki Station still was accessible. However, walls were added in Line 1 entrances, rendering Line 1 inaccessible from Line 2 temporarily. Line 1 then started to be built by TTheGreekZeus. Grand opening events were held for every station that was constructed until Tavros station. Since then, stations were built and opened simultaneously. Here is the list of the stations:

Line 3
Line 3 is a railway route that has eight stations, and it starts from Monastiraki and ends in Douk Plakentias. Line 3 was the second line to be added in the subway system and since its appearance it helped the subway system get passengers. Line 3 was planned to be similar to Line 2 until it was found out that the subway at its current form could not accommodate a third line. Because of that, all stations of Lines 2 & 3 were renovated and were added the third rail. Monastiraki station was the only one place where passengers could enter Line 1. The station was identical to the real one. However, it was not fully done. There are two kinds of trains operating in Line 3 which are 1st Generation and 2nd Generation. Here is a list of the stations:
