The Engineering University of Romont is a high-level University located in Anchburg, Romont. It holds 4,673 students as of the Fall 2031 semester. The university holds the title of "The Best Engineering University in Robloxia" due to its high standards and advanced teachings.
The university also has another campus location in Stové, Romont, though it is not as big. The main university in Anchburg holds classes for electrical, civil, mechanical, and chemical engineering. The second campus mentioned previously has classes for biomedical, aerospace, marine, and computer engineering.
History
On January 1st, 1979, Ben Williams Sr. was given a grant from Romont to begin construction on an engineering university. It would be the first of its kind, and attract many engineers from around Roblox. Approximately three months later, the university was established, and started taking in students.
At first, it only held classes for electrical and mechanical engineering. However, they were soon able to find professors for both chemical and civil engineering. After opening up more courses, the amount of students coming in nearly doubled, but the university had enough dormitory rooms to accommodate the size.
After many students requested sports teams, the university loaned money from the Bank of Robloxia to set up teams in three sports: Basketball, Robloxian Football, and Track and Field. The university is not well known for its level of skill in sports.
The university set up another campus in Stové for less popular branches of engineering. This campus originally held classes for just biomedical and computer engineering. However, the university later found professors for Aerospace and Marine Engineering.
Ben Williams Sr. died on December 8th, 2014. His son, Ben Williams Jr. took over. The entire university has since then had a day off on December 8th each year.
