Emperor Charlemagne (born Carolus the First; 742 - March 819) was the former king of the Ro-Franks after his father, Popus IX died of old age and was the first emperor of the Holy Romen Empire during the early 8th century. He was the father of four sons. His first son was Popus the Hunchback, who was disinherited. His youngest son was Emperor Louis I. Charlemagne was famous for maintaining peace between western and eastern parts of Romarkia. He won a battle against the Saxons and Moors. He was also the patriarch of the Charlemagne Dynasty.

Early Life

Carolus the First was born around in 742 in Western Romarkia and was the eldest son of the Ro-Frankish king, Popus IX. His father was the son of Charles Martel, the famous ruler of the Ro-Franks during the early 8th century and father in law to Betraine of the Loan tribe, Carolus's mother. He had several siblings, only two of his siblings survived to adulthood: Carloman I (who was king of the Ro-Franks before Carolus) and Gisela (abbess of Chellas, his eldest sister).
