Elsemere Junction is a train station located in the Elsemere neighborhood of Stepford City. It was originally built in 1892 as the Pond Road Halt and was destroyed by a very small fire in 1909 which was contained within 4 minutes but destroyed the waiting area. A new station was built at the same site in 1911, this time using the name that is currently used today. The station was demolished in September of 2004 after the headhouse had been sealed off since 1980 due to asbestos contamination. A new station was built starting in January of 2005 and was finished in August of that year, which is the current station that still stands today.
