Plot
Set in the year 2094 in a devastated Robloxia ravaged by civil war and environmental collapse, Echoes of the Fallen follows the story of Kade Mercer, a war-hardened veteran seeking solitude in the wilderness. After stumbling upon a young girl named Lira, who possesses information about a hidden sanctuary rumored to be the last safe haven, Kade reluctantly agrees to escort her across treacherous lands controlled by raiders and warlords.
Their journey takes them through abandoned cities, deadly wastelands, and remnants of old society. Along the way, they encounter both enemies and unexpected allies, including a mysterious doctor known as Elden and a rebel leader named Sorin. As the duo closes in on their destination, Kade must confront the guilt of his wartime actions and protect Lira from those seeking to exploit her knowledge.

Production
Development of Echoes of the Fallen began in late 2019 when Glass Point Pictures announced a new original animated feature under the direction of Maximilian Novak, known for his earlier work on the 2017 thriller Ironheart. The screenplay was written by Emily Harper, Joshua Sands, and Tobias Hill over the span of seven months.
Principal animation commenced in August 2020 at Glass Point’s main studio in Bloxburg, Bloxburg Valley, with post-production handled in Sacramento. The studio employed a hybrid animation technique, combining traditional frame-by-frame animation with advanced digital effects to achieve the film’s bleak yet beautiful aesthetic. Joshua Sands, also serving as the film’s composer, crafted an original score incorporating orchestral and electronic elements. The soundtrack album, released in May 2022, topped the Robloxian Soundtrack Charts for three consecutive weeks.
