The ePhone is a line of smartphones designed and marketed by Pear Inc. These devices use Pear's eOS mobile operating system. The first-generation ePhone was announced by then-Pear CEO Steve Jobless on January 9, 2007. Since then, Pear has annually released new ePhone models and eOS updates. As of November 1, 2018, more than 2.2 billion ePhones had been sold.
