Douglas is an hypothetical state in the Unified Communities, presumed to have aided the NewTopians in the NewTopian Revolution. It is a great state to live in, despite its standard of living being higher than any other state in the Unified Communities. However, it has a relatively low crime rate.

History
A male Robloxian from Brookhaven was coming back from his fishing trip to a port owned by Brookhaven when suddenly, his ship sank. He had to go on a small boat. He did not know where he was going but then ended up in the state of Douglas. In 1916, Brookhaven was socialist and was transitioning towards communism as Brookhaven People's Republic. A man named John from the state of Seaboard came over in 1916, wishing to find an island to declare as his expanse, and ended up here. Seaboard was capitalist, as it was a territory in Robloxia. The sides agreed to have their land. The socialists got east and the capitalists got west. Unfortunately, tensions began to rise between the two sides. The Seaboard governor had an idea to expand east and assassinate the socialist leader. A hitman was hired and shot the socialist leader. The socialist leader and sheriffs were injured. When the socialist leader and the sheriffs got out of the hospital though, a man with a revolver shot the socialist leader dead. The man was not able to shoot the sheriffs.
The Brookhaven knew something was up after finding out that the Seaboard people assassinated their colony leader. It seemed like everyone would just want to beat each other up and they did. Brookhaven declared war on Seaboard, which led to The Great Battle, a horrific battle with the Seaboard People getting killed in the muddy trenches every day. A young Seaboard general declared war on THE OTHER seaboardish force, with another general. This led to The Seaboard Civil War, a gruesome armed conflict that led to a changing of Seaboard ideology to industrialist and brutalist. The rebels won this conflict. While the people were away though, Brookhaven kept invading.
The now more brutal Seaboard state fought hard and never surrendered. They bombed various places in Brookhaven, turning them into trash. The socialist force was also malnourished due to their food supply chain being cut off and having no available forts. Seaboard tanks bombed Brookhaver ships, cars, even other tanks. Eventually, Brookhaven surrendered.
This was great news, as it allowed further expansion to Robloxia. However, Livetopians also wanted to expand westward. When the livetopians pushed into Douglas, they had better armory. So the seaboards dug in for the seasons.
Seaboard state retreated until the winter of 1918-1919. The Cranberry Colony was confirmed. The Seaboard state was coming out with better armory. In the winter of 1918-1919, the Seaboard state launched arsonist attacks against Livetopia, specifically targeting Topia School, Topia Factory, and Topia Gas. The fires resulted eventually led to a Livetopian surrender, which was controversial primarily because of its immaturity among the Livetopian populace.
Eventually, Seaboard had the Douglas Colony, which angered the fighters. They wanted it to be a separate republic, away from Seaboard. The Douglas Rebellion was short-lived. The West had the tech that the east did not have. Eventually, the West did the obvious; the West declared war on the East. After seven months of strike fighting, it was over.
The Eastern Force moved out and the Republic of Douglas remained a country for two years until being annexed by the United Communities Union in 1920.
The Western force made their union, the Unified Communities after the battle. Liberty and democracy are two principles of which it is founded.
They later helped the NewTopians defeat the Livetopians in the NewTopian rebellion.
