Geography and Climate
The county is majorly rural, occupied by small hills, vast farmlands, and small villages scattered across its area. Shaftesbury, located around the center of Dorset County, is the largest settlement of the area with a population of nearly 10,000. The county's low population density and quiet roads contribute to the peacefulness of the place.
The county has a strong emphasis on driving and many of its population enjoy driving around these areas. In a scarcely populated area, like this, most households rely on private transportation and there are no highways located in the county.
Dorset County’s origins date back to the early days of Bloxland's settlement, making it one of the oldest inhabited settlements of the region. Archaeological evidence suggests that the area was first populated by other Eurobloxian inhabitants and the region was widely occupied by agricultural communities.
