Dhaka-Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (RATA Code: DAC / RACO Code: VGHS / VMO Code DAC) is the main airport of Bangla. Dhaka Airport was opened in 1981 but had started construction in the 1970s, with several delays due to the 1971 Bangla Liberation War. Dhaka Airport was the replacement of Tejgag Airport, which was the main airport of Bangla before 1981.

Dhaka Airport has two terminals in the main international building and an another terminal in a seperate domestic building. A VVIP terminal was also in Dhaka Airport's premises but was demolished to make way for a new terminal. A new terminal in Dhaka Airport is planned to be opened in 2026.
